I’d long searched for an app that allowed me to track holdings because the free Yahoo iPhone app didn’t come close. I’d run with another app for some time but that was bug-ridden, inaccurate and poorly supported. Paying for another app and then the tedious chore of re-entering investment data was something I’d avoided for some time. In general my experience with Stocks Live has been positive. First and foremost, it’s very complicated but my experience has been that sooner-or-later I’ll want it to do more and more. For the most part, I find that it already does. The layout is a little daunting at first but I’m used to it now and it’s very reasonable. As a Brit. I find most of what I want in the way that I want it. Remembering the “.L” at the end of London traded stocks is essential and understanding how GBP and GBX are handled was a small challenge until I’d had that “doh!” moment. I’m also disappointed that the app doesn’t allow me to record fees and stamp duty within the purchase information but the developer was very willing to enter into a discussion about that. The app is full of opportunities to buy extras but other than seeing padlock icons on some pages, that’s been little inconvenience. Much of that is needed infrequently and available elsewhere. I also bought the “Stocks Tape” app with it but that’s pretty useless to me. Finally, it seems that UK stockbrokers or platforms cannot be linked directly to the app allowing transactions from within it. That may not be a bad thing however; I’m not so confident as to buy or sell on a whim, so having to log-in to my brokers website is perhaps a small safeguard. Not perfect but recommended for those who want features and reliability.

This really is a superb app! Feature packed with the ability to track multiple global portfolios in realtime be it stocks or crypto. The ability to summarise multi currency portfolios into you base (home) currency make value tracking much easier. The developer constantly adds to, and enhances, the functionality with options such as “what if” (we can all dream!) and the latest being the ability to base valuations on closing prices or after hours prices. Support is always very quick and interactive. I have been using the app for many, many years. I subscribe to the ‘full fat’ version and believe it is worth every penny (cent) as I interact with it multiple times per day….. you have EVERYTHING at your fingertips tips. Highly recommended.PB

I was tired of trying to make the free stock apps work and decided to spend the ten bucks for this one based on previous reviews. I'm so glad I did. This a powerful app and excellent value for money. When I had a small issue due to my own mistake in inputting data, customer support was quick (within minutes), friendly and helpful via email to fix my problem. I have savings in two countries, and support for multiple currencies is solid. There are inexpensive options to add on features like dividend history as needed, or you can buy all of the extras at once for a price. The basic app will be all that many need for keeping up with their portfolios, but this one is showing me how much more info I can get easily via the iPad.

I have used this App for several years. It is brilliant and rich in the information and analysis it provides and makes available. The Developer is always very responsive and fast to help and correct any minor glitch.
