The app has a number of good features I like, such as being able to buy Bible Translations at a reasonable price which you own forever, option to pay a low fee to remove adverts, highlighting and bookmarking functions and other things. Thanks for reading!
Please can I get a refund for the money I have already paid?

This is the first example I have found of an app which, having paid to unlock functionality, requires me to later pay further money to undo an ‘upgrade’ which I didn’t ask for. This was a great app which I have used for years, (and was happy to pay money for to be able to download the Bible). Having updated to the latest version, I find a very intrusive and time-wasting set of adverts appears every time I try to use it. To get back to the experience I had before, I am asked to pay more money. If I bought a book in a shop and took it home, I’d be disappointed if the publisher turned up in my home a little while later, and insisted on bombarding me with advertising every time I took it off my bookshelf unless I paid him money to go away. Why is it okay to do this just because the book is in a digital format? Can I either: a) revert the app back to the version I paid for, which doesn’t waste my time with adverts, or b) please have my money back since the product I paid for has been taken away?
Love it

2023I have now had the app for years. This is my default Bible app, I have decided to buy a couple Bibles so I can have access offline. One of the updates was to remove the little vertical line (cursor) that would scroll the page up and down. I would like to see how far down I am on a chapter, you need to bring it back please. Also the app is full of lags, it wasn’t like this before. 2021Have had this app for almost a year now and I love it. The only bad thing is that you need connection.
Advert Installation has ruined this app!

Loved this app until adverts were added. Whenever we get asked to look up a verse I would get my phone out because it was always quicker than getting my actual bible out of my bag and then looking up the verse. However, I now have to wait for the app to load and wait for the adverts to load, click off the advert and wait for the bible to load. Takes too much time. Thinking about deleting this bible app and downloading one without adverts. This is such a shame because I loved having the versatility of having access to the different bible translations etc.
