Garmin G1000 is an integrated avionic system used in many small aircrafts. This simulator simulates a primary flight display(PFD) which is used on Cessna 182T, 172S, 172R, 206H and Beechcraft Baron G58. It can also be configured to adapt piston, turboprop and jet engines. Most of the useful functionalities has been implemented in this simulator, such as navigation, inset map, flight plan, flight director, and autopilot. Besides of that, nearly every nob/button is functioning just like they were on the real G1000.
G1000 is a highly integrated system, it is very powerful and also very complicated. It is recommended that you have a real G1000 user guide from Garmin. This simulator can be used by aviation enthusiasts as well as pilots to perform either an IFR training or just fly for fun. There is a global navigation database included in this simulator, and you can fly any where in the world.
This simulator supports FSX, Prepar3D, MSFS2020, X-Plane and InfiniteFlight. You can use this simulator either as a stand alone trainer or as an instrument for FSX, Prepar3D, X-Plane or InfiniteFlight.
You need G1000Bridge(X) to make this simulator working with FSX, Prepar3D, MSFS2020 or X-Plane. Please visit http://www.simionic.net to download G1000Bridge(X).

Great app which has worked perfectly until the recent update. Now doesn't start on IPad 4
Very realistic, brilliant
Ggggggghhhhhhg
Some of the difficulties other users experience are because of the complexities of the buttons on the real G1000. I purchased the bezel for use with an iPad Pro. As a pilot, I can tell you that the integration of the iPad and bezel system creates the sensation of a genuine and real G1000 in my X-Plane based sim cockpit.Quite simply put, you need to purchase at least one if not two bezels, the audio stack and then two iPads for this system to work 100% effectively, or you will only get half of the experience, and spend a lot of time trying to push buttons that, in my case, my fingers are too fat for! This system is for very serious simmers IMO, and unless you know exactly what you’re doing and can throw a bit of cash behind what you’re doing, then save your complaining. Amazing bezel system for this app. Amazing app. Very well done, guys.
Great for training!

Great app and good bridge programs for both X-plane and FSX! Well done to the developer. I’m flying DA40 and 42 with G1000 and the app comes surprisingly close to the real thing.A few things that I would really like to suggest to be implemented in the future releases are:- DA40, DA42 package (speeds, engine setting as % load, etc)- When tuning in a TACAN station, the CDI bar should be gone and just DME shown- It would be nice to carry through the failures from X-plane to the app (e.g. if the AHRS fails, to see the red crosses on the app, etc)But in general keep up the good work ! :)
Add on

The PFD and MFD apps are working great, with some minor glitches and workarounds.3 stars because the add-on worth £6 is worthless. Only useful on the runway, there are no taxiways (using Garmin’s safe taxi) or apron. More importantly the higher you are the worse the Synthetic Vision becomes, so realistically only useful from ground till 1,000ft.Get the 2 apps, but don’t get the add-on.
Developer Response
There is no taxiway showing on a real G1000’s synthetic vision. We are trying to make the app runs like the real one.
1. Changes the way of detecting MSFS or X-Plane from sending global broadcast packets to network broadcast packets, this fixes the issue of failed to connect to MSFS or X-Plane on the latest iPad OS
2. Magnetic variation has been re-modeled, this fixes the deviation issue when flying a flight plan and GPS approaches
3. Taking VORs' own magnetic variations into consideration instead of considering all the VORs are aligned to magnetic north
4. Added PSI as an option for torque display for a turboprop aircraft, the calculation is for Pilatus PC6 and PC12, may not apply to every turboprop planes
