I was concerned that the cookie popup that appears initially and can appear on other devices after subscribing meant my data was being passed to third parties even as a subscriber, however PhotoCircle support responded very quickly when I contacted them and has plans to address the cookie pop appearing for subscribers.I was very happy with the response and relieved to know they do take this stuff seriously as I use this app with my girlfriend to share photos of our families and it’s worked very well for us.
Good App. But, spoilt by ads

Good app and great for sharing photos. However, the ads really spoil the experience. I get that you have to have ads in a free app. But, they shouldn’t take away from the enjoyment of the app. You scroll through photos and an ad pops up. No problem, you can usually just keep scrolling. But, sometimes it won’t let you. Even if you watch it to the end, there’s no way to close it. So, you have to close the app, restart and then try and remember which photo you got to, select it and start scrolling again. And even more annoyingly, sometimes the music in the ad keeps playing AFTER you close the ad. So, you have to close the app (again) and start all over again!

You should have such an experience. Ads should not block you, nor should they require closing the app. Please contact us via the in-app support center. This will include your diagnostic logs for our engineers to review. I see you’re in the UK. That may play a part.

It’s a shame, I liked the functionality and look of this app more than Cluster which I’m sticking to now. I wanted to use this app to share travel photos with family and friends so they can see what I’m up to whilst I move abroad. However you can only pay to remove the ads for your own account. I’d actually happily pay as a one off to remove ads for people looking at my album but that’s not an option, they have to pay themselves. When I first downloaded the app there wasn’t ads but a week or so in they pop up every time I use the app and often you have to close it down to get rid of the ad. I didn’t want my family having the same experience especially if they are less tech savvy
