Delightful and addictive game that really captures the spirit of the show 💜

This is a great game for any fan of MLP. The art style, the music, the characters and the dialogue really capture the same spirit that the show has. The missions and the way you get to watch your town and ponies slowly grow over time is what makes it addictive and engaging. I also like how they keep the game updated by adding missions that tie-in to new episodes of the show (although I'm not sure how that's gonna work now that the show has ended.) Some issues I have with the game are I do think some of the ponies are waaay overpriced, dialogue from characters that ties in to the missions just pops out of nowhere which can make things a bit confusing if you haven't played the game in a while and some of the missions take just ridiculously long to complete. But the biggest problem I have with the game is how you have to pay to play most of the mini-games which I don't agree with at all. But other than those issues I really enjoy the game and it makes me want to re-watch the show too ❤️

I played this when I was a little kid and decided to download it again now that I've rediscovered mlp. Even though the missions have good storylines, the graphics are good and there are plenty of things to do I have numerous big problems with the game (and they all have to do with in-game as well as real-life currency). 1. Minigames should either cost less or cost nothing. They are ridiculously expensive, and as you level up they actually get even more expensive? It makes it really difficult to progress though the game when it's so hard to play them. 2. Ponies, buildings, decorations etc. ALL COST TOO MUCH. Especially the ones that cost diamonds. Personally I would at least make it so you can either pay with coins OR diamonds. 300, 400 or 500 gems is far too much for one pony and unless you spend actual money they're almost impossible to buy. 3. The quests are not rewarding enough. Considering how long they are and how much you have to spend on them the prizes you receive are simply unfair. It's nowhere near what you should be getting and really, either the rewards should be greater or the items should be cheaper. 4. Building on my second point. The amount of money you expect people to spend on singular ponies is genuinely appalling. A small little animation that might help you with a couple of quests is not worth £30 (or more). Please fix this.

Bug or Scam?

I love this game, even tho it is a bit expensive I enjoy playing it. I have noticed something while completing purchases tho. Whenever you purchase something from the store you get a stamp card with 10 purchases to make in order to get 300 diamonds. Mine has been working perfectly fine until the last 4 purchases, at first I have noticed that I am only on the 6th stamp even tho I could swear I was on the 7th last time i’ve purchased something but I haven’t payed much attention to it. On the purchase I have made now, it has dropped me to 9th and I thought that maybe it has fixed itself. HOWEVER, 2 minutes later I have made another purchase, exactly the same one, in order to get the 300 diamonds since I was already on the ninth stamp. All of a sudden it has dropped me to the 5th stamp and I have only gotten 120 diamonds. I don’t know whether it was a bug or just a scam but i’m very dissatisfied with this because I honestly thought that, although pricey, this game is very genuine with its sales and prices for the product you get and I have recommended it to my friends. I wish this could be fixed because I have already spent a good amount of money buying ponies, diamonds and shops for real money which i’d say do come up to a £100 or more so this kind of bug or scam really isn’t okay. If this situation ever gets solved I would be more than happy to give 5 stars.

I downloaded this game a while back for nostalgic purposes and something to fill my time with, it’s really sad to see what this game has become. The sheer amount of time it takes to do things makes the gameplay impossible, and if you want to do anything it costs you an arm and a leg in bits and/or gems. You level up really quickly and, for some reason, minigames - though fun aspects of the game - grow more expensive as you do so, which doesn’t reflect the amount of time it takes to get the in-game currency. You spend half your time watching adverts to still eventually have to buy in-game currency to progress. Once you run out of ponies to purchase with tokens or bits it’s impossible to buy the ponies costing gems as they're extortionate; 300, 400, 500 gems for a pony is ridiculous. I love collecting the ponies and playing the games with them, however all it seems is this game has spiralled into a below the belt cash grab. I personally wouldn’t mind paying a baseline fee for the game if it meant it would become easier to play through, with less time wasted on watching ads and having to waste endless amounts on in-game currency to do anything. Minigames shouldn’t cost so much, characters shouldn’t cost so much, levelling up shouldn’t be so fast and it really should consider the players before making a profit.To get through the game I have tried and tried to save up my bits, gems, and special currency from events however it just gets to a point where I’m forced to spend it as I keep levelling up. I really think by communicating with players who really do love the game you’d be able to make it more engaging in the long haul instead of a quick attention grab, only to peter out and lose players who would otherwise enjoy the game.
