Over all a decent app where it’s pros out weigh it’s cons, however it’s cons are still manny to list. Starting with its biggest, the advertising and I definitely understand how it needs advertising to keep up its app however shouldn’t the pro subscriptions cover that? If not then I advise that you should at least stop some of the advertising from happening as it’s very un-islamic and unbefitting for a Quran app which is also used by children. Secondly I like reading Quran just as much as I like listening to it and I have to have a separate app to do that since the reader on the Quran pro app is extremely hard. Also it’s hard to enjoy using the app since to do anything enjoyable will require a upgrade with a monthly fee. As I said I also understand it needs money to keep such an app going but, can’t there just be a donation button where we can give as much as we are able. Again as I said the cons are many to name so here’s a few we can start with improve it.

Assalamu Aleykum,Just like the majority of the reviews left by my sisters and brothers, I too really enjoy this app and all its functions. However, I would like to add in a suggestion for app development. Perhaps if we had a function that allows us to browse the Quran with voice control. What I mean is, if for instance I was looking for an Aya, I need to go through google to find in which Surah and what page I can find that Aya. However, being able to just read the Aya and have the app find it for me, or for instance being able to look up all the words “Rabb” in the Quran (also using voice over) would be an extremely useful function. If I was to use the example of a current app that does this, I would say Shazzam. Is it perhaps possible to have this feature in the upcoming updates?Jazzakumu Llahu khayran

These guys are also the makers of the prayer times app, for those of you who have had the apps since they were first released, you’ll remember how it was okay price wise to upgrade to what they then called “premium”. They then released an upgrade for the athan app that made it way above any price, but on top you had to pay more no matter if you had premium (I’d like to note that app also just went really wrong with timings so I changed it) Well I should’ve known they’d do the same with this, but my phone auto updates so I missed it, but I knew as soon as I saw the app logo change that they had done the same. I had premium on this app too, then I look to see that the most I’ll get is “1 year free”, then even more atrociously I see that a full subscription for life is 50 pounds. I’d pay that to support the developers except for one thing, in two years theres nothing to stop them saying super premium is 100 pounds for life in an update. With all due respect, the reciters don’t charge for their voices and the coding for app isn’t worth 50 for life. It also doesn’t cost that to buy a Quran from a book shop, just think about that. I’ll be changing this app too soon. Shame really.

This was a great app that I used daily, had a playlist which my daughter listened to every night without fail; however after the recent upgrade, the app has been difficult, firstly needed to sign in to create a playlist? Secondly the playlist doesn’t jump from one Surah to another, just finishes after 1, and on the lock screen, it doesn’t show correctly, for example I was listening to Surah yasin, however it shows it is playing Surah baqarah (which I did a few hours ago) but the time thing is at zero but is still playing? Also not liking the new look, prefer dark mode but needs to be unlocked to change it :-/
