Rather than encourage marathon cleaning sessions, UfYH gives you the tools to clean up, a little at a time. Unf&%*ing your habitat turns dreaded chores into easy-to-complete tasks, with a hefty dose of “filthy” language to motivate you to clean up.
-Clean and simple easy-to-use interface.
-Select timed challenges in 5, 10, or 20 minute intervals and try to beat the clock to finish the challenge.
-Select challenges by room.
-Create a customized to-do list and reminders to keep you on schedule.
-Earn achievements for completing challenges or finishing your to-do list.
-Use the 20/10 timer to reward yourself with a 10-minute break for every 20 minutes of work. Shorter challenges count cumulatively toward your total time.
-Random motivators remind you that excuses are boring and use a combination of a little guilt, a little shame, and a little swearing to get you moving.

This is a great app that helps a reluctant cleaner get on top of things. I love the fact I can make my own list of things to do with recurring tasks, but it would be even better if it recorded when I last did the task. Some sort of "last completed: " display would be great so I can stay on top of the jobs I tend to ignore. Even better if I could organise my jobs by "most recently completed" or something similar! Over all a great accompaniment to a wonderful blog.

Cleaning used to be a thing that happened for other people, in huge stressful exhausting marathons. (The smell of the air that comes out of the back of the Hoover still makes me feel like death.) Now it's five minutes here, twenty there, no stress and panic involved. I'm finding the 5 minute random challenges really handy for breaking out of procrastination - if I do the 5 minutes, I'm then ready to get on and do 20 on something else that needs it. I cannot recommend the app enough.

When i choose funny loop or magic chimes it kicks me off the app! I thought maybe funny loop was maybe just dark humour as in you try it get kicked off, reopen app try again, get kicked off etc etc; but couldn’t see anything magical about not being able to choose the chimes!

Used to use this app all the time before the iOS 11 update. The new interface makes it not as convenient to use. The tasks repeat themselves over again. Would be good to be able to add your own tasks and select a do not show this task again for a set amount of days. There is only so many times you can do one task. Also it doesn’t flow from one completed task to the other. You’ve to choose room and time you want. I’m sure this app could be brilliant if more time was put into developing ideas. Ps. The book is brilliant.
This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included.
