Alexa integration is not great. If we can control the streaming session from mobile similar to controlling the music on another mobile or laptop it would be great. At the moment I can run two separate sessions for Anghami (1 on Alexa and 1 on my mobile) we are already struggling to control the app on Alexa because of the Arabic language so make it easier for us guys. With every update they make they mess up something nice that used to be working just fine (that despite the too many restrictions on the free version, which is understandable, although debatable because by (me) listening to the adds they put (they) are making money!)... but I am talking about the favorite list that suddenly stopped playing in order nor in shuffle mode, so now, no matter of your playing mode choices, the app plays the first song from your favorites then continue with something else...Anghami’s comment/reply:"Those functionalities are now available for Anghami Plus users. Anghami pays royalties to Music labels for every song you play, each and every time. Those restrictions allow us to maintain those costs while offering you a lot of great music for free. For more details, please contact us Help / Contact us in-app for more details."My reply:Simply put, Anghami turned against their old friends!! the free version now plays random music only! It will not play liked music anymore!I say -in this case- any radio channel would do the job... actually, to be fair, radio channels are doing much better work in that aspect... not mentioning the availability of alternative apps.One listener down ;) keep up the greedy work.

My last comment was all sunshines and rainbows but this one is not. I've been listening to anghami for a good 2-3 years now and it has never failed me. But a few days ago I was on the app and I realised I had no internet.(Well the app realised then I realised.)So I went to check my internet and when I came back it wasn't working. I restarted the app a few times but nothing happened. The next day I got the same response. And over and over again. No matter where I am, no matter how strong the connection it never works. I have deleted the app and will download it again in a few days time. But I don't want to experience this again. Please fix this!

The app is degrading

I have been using anghami for >4 years and I have been a loyal anghami plus user. In the last year my playlist lost more than half of the songs which were produced by Rotana (seems the app and the production company couldn’t reach an agreement). Furthermore, I have noticed that many songs in my playlist are being swapped with their live performances without my authorisation or knowledge. The app was amazing few years back, but now it is getting worse by the day. I know I won’t renew my anghami plus subscription anymore, especially that it’s not significantly cheaper than other better music streaming apps.
