I’ve used this app for years. Every time a new iOS comes out TAPEACALL are there with an update to assure the app continues to work. They continue to upgrade the performance and app at all times. Audio recording is crystal clear and they don’t charge for (by the minute recordings) unlike other apps. 10 out of 10 for this app. That’s only the second time I’ve given. 10/10. Keep up the good work 👍 PS very easy to use as well
UK access no but poor recording quality

This is the only app I’ve found which has a UK access number. I’m not sure what happens if you use an international one, but I assume you get charged for an international call. The call merge function is automated and much easier than other apps, which is a bonus. But the call quality wasn’t great and the recording of my voice and the other persons were slightly out of sync, so initially it sounds like I was talking over the other person and by the end of a 10 minute interview, they were answering questions before I’d asked them! The transcript feature is handy. It doesn’t differentiate between person 1 & 2 so it takes a lot editing to be useful (especially when we are both talking at once, according to the recording). A useful app, but the recording quality is not good enough for me to spend £50 without shopping around a bit more.

Unfortunately I have not had a good experience with Tape a call.I have paid for the monthly 4,49GBP fee and used the app on a weekly basis, after 6 records which went all well one of my call was not recorded. After several chats on teh app and email with the support team from Tape a call, I have been told that my recording was made during an outage and their carrier was unable to record anything during the outage. Since this was a very important call for me with an important legal issue I am extremely upset about this outcame and about the fact they can not do anything to recover it!! This record loss has caused me lots of trouble and I am very disappointed since as it is unacceptable especially when you pay for service. In addition I have been told from the support team that these outages happen sometimes and they are trying to handle this, well I can not risk in the future to use Tape a call app since it might happen again! Very upsetting!
Does not work with EE UK

It has to merge your call with the apps control centre number and there number acts like a voicemail service and records your call which you can access the same as a voice Mail. It would be great, but EE do not allow merge calls on its network because of data protection and fraud. So basically the app will never work as it can’t merge your call to the apps number to record anything. POINTLESS APP and they don’t even tell you it’s illegal to record calls in the UK now and EE UK do not allow call recording. Waste of money! I feel like to just threw some money down the toilet. Plus all the positive reviews are fake. It’s obvious they are because once again UK networks do not allow this as an option so nobody can use it, so how are there people saying it’s a great app? They are fake. 😂
