Great photo calendar provider but the app has lost some of its differentiating functionality
Great photo calendars but some of the app functionality available in previous versions has been lost. I’ve purchased several calendars from Photobox and the photo quality and display options always impressed me. I was a little disappointed to see in the current version that it’s no longer possible to add small photos to selected days of the month. Additionally, it doesn’t appear possible to save a calendar design part way through to allow you to come back to - I have just tried to make one for 2020 and lost all the photos and edits I had made which is somewhat frustrating. Overall though I’d say photobox are still one of the best providers of photo calendars.
Utterly useless
Photobox don’t deserve ANY stars - avoid at all costs!!!! I made a calendar online (actually quite straight forward), I then wanted to order some prints and that’s where the challenges started. They offer “50 free prints” but don’t be fooled unless you want to pay more on postage than it costs to buy them normally including postage! Want to upload them using the app? Don’t bother - you can’t look at what you’ve already added, or once they’ve been added to the basket view them online. App and online are completely incompatible! Want to add more than one of a print? Apparently that’s also impossible on the app… but if you want to pick some make prints online, you HAVE to upload them from your computer (or another source) and you can’t select from preuploaded album. Well, you can, but it takes 10 minutes per photo as their website is so slow so good luck!! You can’t order or view your uploaded albums in the app either. After over 10 years of using Photobox I will never use them again after this experience, I only stuck it out as I had already made the calendar.

Great company and an app to match
Rare that you can find companies you like that produce an app worthy of equal credit, but Photobox have managed this with aplomb!
For example, I love going to the cinema, but the apps for companies like Odeon, The Vue and Cineworld are abysmal; they just do not work, especially if you try to undo an error.
Photobox’s app, however, is spectacularly simple to use. Even if you make a mistake or want to change your selections, it’s easy to rectify. I purchased a canvas and you simply select the size, select the type of canvas, choose your photo and then review and purchase it: I think even the most tech-illiterate person would fly through these steps with ease!
Excellent all round.
