I must say that the collection of the songs in Gaana is excellent but regretfully, I have reduced the rating of the application because of the difficulty to getting hold of Gaana customer service. My Gaana app stopped working in March 2020 & despite having an annual subscription with them but there has been no way of getting hold of Gaana to request them to restore or reset the application. I have not been able contact them or access the app or my song playlists. Therefore, I have lost many months of my subscription because I have not been able to use the app.I have sent numerous messages to Gaana.An automated message is sent back to say that they have cancelled my request for support & the issue is closed. I feel sad because previously, I had very few issues with the free version of Gaana and I loved my playlists.Update - August 2020After numerous attempts to contact the Gaana Customer Service and failing and having lost many months of my annual premium membership, I have finally managed to get the Gaana app working. The positive point here is that upon accessing the app, my playlists have not been deleted like the last time (a year ago when I had problems accessing the app).So finally, thank you to Gaana.

No way to contact customer care

After 3 years being a premium member finally decided to cancel the membership, thats not at all a simple procedure. Even tried to send email regarding cancellation and no response after two weeks also. Last two year they have billed me twice during the renewal process. There is no way we can claim this money and stop subscription. Now i deleted my apple pay details and deleted my account from gaana two days back, and today i got email from gaana saying that your auto renewal activated and will charge subscription amount on 29th.. now i need to contact my bank to check is there a wAy to cancel subscription from this people.. Also it always shows a home screen and not easy to navigate to the playlist.Lots of ugly labels now days showing a song premium. What the point of showing it as premium if someone already have a premium membership?

Please refrain from downloading this app. I signed up for yearly membership and after one month they took another payment out for whole year again and then I was not able to access the account as I was told that my subscription expired in one month while I paid twice for an year subscription. I have tried several emails to ask for payment which was taken twice as I thought it may be an error and to start my subscription but they do not reply to your emails at all. So I paid twice around $40 and was then denied access to the app unless I pay again after one month. Please do not get cheated out of your money by these scammers. I would have not even given a single star but that is minimum to post a review but if my review can save any one of you from being cheated out of your money I will be glad for that.

Firstly, there is no clear option to access customer support from the app , which makes contact with Gaana support very difficult - perhaps a deliberate reason to keep support emails and cost to minimum .Secondly, every so often the app clears all the downloaded songs which means you have to sync them all again . The premise of having download songs is to access your selected songs stored on your device immediately . This major function of the app becomes obsolete when you don’t have your selected songs readily available. I have contemplated to deactivate my 6 monthly subscription several times in the past for the same reason , however the latest loss of all my downloaded songs has made my decision easier to not continue with the auto renewal of subscription .
