I came to Makkah last year and used this app with no issues. I have returned this year and staying in a hotel next to the one from last year but the app says no restaurants available in your area. All restaurants shown are 75km away, why is this? I think it’s set to Al khobar, there is no way of changing location to Makkah.

My Experience – Want a Tip?A few friends recommended that I stop using this app, and after my own experiences, I understand why.I have placed many orders through this app in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and unfortunately, my food has repeatedly been delivered very late. Despite this, the company still charges a delivery fee of around 11 SAR, plus a 2 SAR service fee, and sometimes additional charges depending on the order value.I have contacted customer service many times through the in-app chat. On several occasions, I was told that if my order was delayed, I would receive 30 SAR compensation, but in my experience, this promise was not honoured. I found the responses inconsistent and very disappointing.What frustrated me even more was that some customer service agents ended the chat before resolving my issue, leaving me without a proper solution.After reading many other customer reviews, I realised I am not the only person who has experienced these problems. In my opinion, the service has not met the standard I expect from a delivery platform.Because of my personal experience, I have decided to stop using this app. I have had much better experiences with Ninja and Jahez, and I personally find them more reliable.If anyone would like to see screenshots of my conversations with customer service, I am happy to provide them as proof of my own experience.Very disappointing. I hope the company improves its service and starts treating customers fairly.

My experience with HungerStation was misleading and unacceptable. The app showed a lower total before payment, but after continuing, a membership pop-up appeared pushing subscription benefits. I declined it, and the order was still processed with extra delivery fees added that were not clearly shown before I was charged. There was no clear final confirmation screen showing the true total before payment went through. I only discovered the higher charge after I had already been billed. Customer support was unhelpful and refused to cancel the order or correct the charge despite the obvious lack of transparency. This is not a minor issue. The pricing flow is misleading and does not clearly show the final amount before charging. I strongly advise others to be careful and avoid using this app if they want clear, honest pricing and proper customer support.

I ordered food, stayed near the door, tracked everything live, and even sent the driver my location and a photo of the building. No one called, no one messaged, no delivery attempt at all. Then after over an hour, they just cancelled the order without warning.Support gave me a lazy excuse saying the driver “waited 15 minutes and couldn’t reach me so no refund can be made” which is a complete lie. I was on the app the whole time. I asked for evidence of contact attempts and told them to check their system, they just kept ending the live chats abruptly with no resolution. I paid for nothing. Horrible customer service, dishonest policies. Use at your own risk.
