Unleash your inner creator and step into the world of 3D creation with Rooms – a free app for creative builders, cozy gamers and curious minds.
Apple's editors recently described Rooms better than we could:
- "Part blank canvas, part game, part 8-bit throwback, all imagination. Rooms is a collection of user-generated 3D spaces and a creative tapestry of quirky games, tranquil havens, and clever themes. Its best feature is its community element: You’re exploring real creations by real people."
-"An incredible canvas for creativity, set in a nostalgic 8-bit world. Rooms is tough to categorize: It’s a blank slate for building imaginative scenes, a platform for cozy gaming, and a social space that lets you interact with thousands of other people’s creations. Quirky, compelling, and executed with a delightful retro twist."

ive honestly been looking for an app like this for YEARS. not only have i finally found it, im absolutely amazed by the level of detail you can create, and how accessible and easy it is to pick up. theres a gallery for premade items by other users, or you can make your own. the item maker is super simple, but theres definitely room for skill development and learning, and im sure the game dev’s will slowly add more features to the item maker as the app gets the credit it deserves. personally, im rebuilding my entire lounge 1cm:1 block ratio so i can plan my redecoration. but the possibilities genuinely are endless, im amazed by peoples creativity and dedication on this app. its pretty much the only form of creating that im able to do right now, and i think its amazing that this app is available for free, and is such a great way to combat art block and lack of inspiration. id give it 10 stars if i could. DO NOT ADD AI TO THIS APP AND RUIN IT PLEASE
Most underrated game!

I feel like this is one of the most underrated games out there right now. The concept is super creative, you build mini rooms using templates, elements made by other players, or even design every pixel yourself. You can remix other people’s rooms, create little minigames, or build entire scenes. There’s a TikTok-style feed where you can scroll through other people’s creations, leave comments, and get inspired. I downloaded it last week and I’ve been completely hooked ever since 😭What really blew my mind is that it’s 100% free and has 0 ads. The vibe is so cute, and the creativity from the community is honestly next-level. However, one problem was that my iPad heats up a lot lol. Definitely worth checking out if you like artsy, sandbox-style games.
Amazing game! ⭐️

Rooms is a game about decorating rooms literally it’s also really good if your bored and the social community is amazing so you can get inspiration. The best thing about this game is there’s no ads and no In app purchases. I promise you this is completely free. And it’s not just decorating, you can build your own rooms from scratch as well, and if you don’t know how to do that you can use other peoples templates and decorate there room! The only thing that is annoying is that you have to sign into the game to be able to save your designs so that’s not really good if you have a kid and you don’t want them to be online and able to chat to strangers. But otherwise get it, it’s amazing!! 🤩⭐️🌸
Brilliant app, needs one major improvement.

Rooms really shines when it comes to creativity. The concept is simple, but the things people make with it are honestly kind of amazing. You start with basic tools, yet the possibilities feel endless. One minute you’re exploring a cosy little scene, the next you’ve stumbled across a clever interactive idea you didn’t even realise was possible. It’s fun, relaxing, and very easy to lose time just browsing or messing around with your own builds. The community is a big part of why the app works so well. There are loads of genuinely dedicated users who love experimenting, sharing tips, and pushing the limits of what Rooms can do. If you dig a little deeper than the front page, you’ll find some incredibly thoughtful and imaginative creations that really show the app’s potential. That said, the discovery system can be frustrating. Featured rooms and the top lists can seem dominated by low-effort posts that are clearly made to farm likes or spark comment drama rather than showcase creativity. It’s disappointing to see near-empty rooms with a single object and a bit of bait text like “go report this user I disagree with” or “I have a headache send love” get pushed to the top, while genuinely impressive builds and top creative wonders get buried further down the list. Other minor areas of improvement I’d love to see include some fine-tuning to creation tools and a more robust followers/profile setup - but these are minor things that don’t affect my enjoyment.Overall though, Rooms is a brilliant creative playground with tons of potential. With better curation and discovery, it could easily be a 5/5 app. As it stands, it’s a solid 4/5 and still well worth checking out if you enjoy creating or exploring creative spaces.
