I’ve always loved taking photos and capturing little moments, but they never came out the way I imagined. And when I tried using basic editing tools, they somehow looked even worse?!Then I found this app, and it’s been such a game-changer. It’s simple to use but makes my photos and videos look so good. It feels like anyone can use this, whether you’re just starting out or you’re a professional photographer. Very disappointed with this update! I mostly import images to edit with the presets and effects, and was pretty horrified to find this app REPLACED the original photos in my photo album with the edited versions. It didn’t require any prompt to do this - it does it automatically with no option to opt out of it. It also means exporting a couple of versions is no longer an option, for those of us who want to test out images before selecting the final. Or if you want 1-2 versions such as a black and white edit and a colour edit. The other issue is that you used to be able to import photos into an ‘editing gallery’ which is great for bulk editing, tweaking and seeing how photos look side by side, especially when they’re pulled from different dates and not necessarily sat next to each other in your camera roll. But now? Now you can’t import them into the app, instead you have to click on an image in your camera roll, edit that (and it just overwrites the original) and then scroll to another photo, edit that, scroll to another photo, and repeat. A total nightmare if you need to tweak them slightly. If you’re wanting to edit photos that are scattered throughout your camera roll - good luck! This app is no longer usable for me at all, and such a disappointment to see a photo editing app completely remove the options to import and export!

Literally everything. I completely understand that this is a change from 1.0 but there were many issues with the 1.0 architecture that we had to address.All change takes time to get used to. For your specific issues, let's go through them. 1. We are working on a setting to turn auto-edit OFF for photos (just like you can for videos). This would mean you can edit the file and export a copy. 2. You can still export copies of the same file. Just use the export menu at the top 3. Working off your Photos app is tricky but you can always work with albums if you want to keep everything tidy. That way you have all the photos you like grouped together in one place and can edit off that specific album. We hope that you stick with us and give us a chance in the future. Receiving one star reviews really hurts, but hopefully we earn your 5 star one day if you stick around.

I do photography as a hobby and managed to grow my account to 300k followers, all this trough long post production time spent on Lightroom, then I found this app and you can tell right away they knew what they were doing, they thought about what each tool does, what each emulation is doing. They added clever tools like colour deduction or addiction with single taps basically making colour grading easier for no professionals too. Would this replace my Lightroom flow? No, but it has become the next step for me, the app I use to add the final touches. Well done Phlow team!

Wow what an app! For someone who loves and appreciates a good photo but isn’t very good at taking them, this app has taken all the stress out of it and actually makes me feel like I’m finally good at taking a photo. We've reworked the way we handle live photos within Phlow. Live photos are now much more robust. When you go to edit a live photo that was taken with the native iPhone camera, you will receive an extracted high-resolution frame of the photo (the photo you shot or the key photo you chose). This will be your new editable image within Phlow. Your original live photo isn't touched. What's really cool is that you can now turn HDR on and off for these JPG/HEIC images!

The PhlowRaw engine got an overhaul and should be looking a lot more crisp and cinematic. For our 1.0 users, you should be getting the same results as you were getting in 1.0! The files are looking beautiful from our tests.

A big update just dropped. Here's what's new:
**FILMIC HDR PHOTOS**
This one's been in the works for a while, and we're excited to finally get it in your hands.
PhlowRAW HDR captures the full tonal range of your scene -- then renders it through Phlow's filmic engine, so the brighter areas of your photo hold the detail and life your eyes actually saw, without sacrificing the natural, cinematic look Phlow is known for. The result is something we haven't seen from a phone camera before: true extended dynamic range that still feels like film.
We think you're going to love it. And we're just getting started with it.
**NEW -- SCENE BRIGHTNESS TOOL**
A new editor control to raise or lower the overall brightness of your scene. Straightforward, but especially powerful alongside HDR -- it gives you precise command over where the light lands in your frame.
**PHOTO SAVING RELIABILITY ENGINE**
Phlow runs one of the most demanding RAW capture pipelines on any phone, and in rare cases during rapid-fire sessions, the system couldn't keep up -- and photos were lost. We're sorry to anyone that happened to.
We've completely rebuilt the saving engine. It's faster, more resilient, and designed to be the foundation Phlow's capture workflow runs on for years to come.

In this update we tackled some bugs and improved performance.
• The infinite "developing" issue should be fixed now for Live Photos and photos that were taken on the native iPhone camera.
• Swipe View overhaul - we completely rewrote the way SwipeView works so it should be way faster and perform much better than it used to

Well, well, well... we meet again with another update! This one is a good one! We've been extremely busy behind the scenes making Phlow work faster and more efficiently.
What's New:
• Full PhlowRAW capture and pipeline overhaul! - We've been fully optimizing and customizing our PhlowRAW pipeline, and it's even better than ever now. You should be getting more consistent results and truly one-click beautiful images.
• Fixes for live photos! - Now editing live photos should be working much more smoothly and consistently. Sorry for the delay.
• Optimizations for ProRaw shooting! - Pro Raw shooting is now even better, and the image quality is next level. We've customized it to fit the Phlow aesthetic. This is a perfect shooting mode for difficult lighting conditions and dynamic scenes.
• Hight-quality swipe view previews! - We were using slightly lower resolution previews before for efficiency, but that's not fun. Phlow photos need to be seen in all their glory at full resolution.
• Video Saving overhaul! - Video saving is now much more reliable.
• Vignette Tool! - Added a vignette tool for those images where you want to focus in on your subject.
• Bug Fixes! - Some of you were experiencing problems with edits solidifying, but those should be resolved now.
We're super proud of this update. It takes a lot of time, energy, and work to make something feel seamless and simple to use. We hope you enjoy! This update should set the foundation for a lot of fun new features coming in the near future!

What's up, Phlow fam!
We're back with another update. This is an exciting one!
We've added Open Gate video recording. This means you can now shoot using the full sensor in 4:3.
You can shoot Open Gate HD which is a 1080p version with stabilization or 4K Open Gate without stabilization.
These videos look incredible and give you the flexibility to shoot and crop later.
We've also fine-tuned some of the app for better performance and squashed some bugs per usual.

What's up Phlow fam...We're back with another update!
We're continuing to refine and make Phlow the greatest app in the world. Thank you to all of our Pro Members. You make development of this app possible.
In this latest update:
• New Tool!: Clarity Tool - add just the right amount of extra clarity or soften up your image by reducing clarity for a softer dreamy effect.
• New 8x lens for iPhone 17 Pros! - This lens is available for JPEG, HEIF, and ProRAW formats.
• Performance optimization and UI enhancements!

Back with another update for the Phlow fam! We're constantly doing our best to make Phlow the best app it can be. We listen to all of your feedback and work overtime to deliver and we won't stop until Phlow is the best.
In this update we simplified (in a good way).
• The gallery UI got a refresh and is more streamlined now. Hope you like it!
• The camera UI was simplified and streamlined
• The camera got an overhaul and is now much more reliable
• Performance updates
• Fixed various bugs
We have a lot more coming but we wanted to get this update out asap. Thank you for sticking with us as we've transitioned to Phlow 2.0!

We have been hard at work over the past (many) months completely rebuilding Phlow from the ground up to be even easier and fun for you to use. Our goal has always been to continue to push the limits for mobile content creation and we think we have done that with the new workflow we’ve created…
INTRODUCING PHLOWSYNC™: A world first! Never before have you been able to go from capture to professionally colored photo straight to Photos App in full RAW non-destructively. No more exporting or duplicate files. Just shoot photos with Phlow and edit them as you normally would. All changes sync back to that photo in Photos App. Simply put, Phlow is your new default camera.
This is v1 of 2.0 and we’re already almost finished on some fun new features (coming very soon).
Once you get used to this new system, there is no going back. Hope to see you inside!

We're back with some improvements! We've been working hard behind the scenes, and we have some big updates coming down the road here. But in the meantime:
- 60fps and 120fps (for supported devices) are back!
- Faster photo saving to the gallery after taking photos
- Overall performance improvements
We are working non-stop, around the clock, to get everything polished up. Thank you for being patient with us. Trust us, it will be worth the wait.

No problem, all changes sync back to that photo in Photos App instantaneously. Simply put, Phlow is your new default camera.

Phlow is now faster and you should be experiencing a smoother overall feel to the way the app works.
Our Raw processing engine also got some fine tuning this week so you should experience better resolution overall when editing and when exporting!
As always, thanks for the love, support and feedback! We are here for the long haul and we're happy you're with us.
2025 is going to be the year of Phlow. We have a lot coming, so buckle up ;)

Back with another update! Big improvements across the board before our big 2.2 release drops.
• FASTER CAMERA LAUNCH
Launch times are noticeably faster -- so the camera is ready the moment you are.
• FASTER FIRST CAPTURE
Fixed an issue where the first shot of a session could be missed. Now every frame counts from the start.
• VIDEO LOCK SCREEN WIDGET
