Great at first, not anymore

I transferred my passwords over to nordpass and it worked great for the first few weeks during the process. But now it is really glitchy and laggy when navigating around the app

I was in the market for a more affordable password manager that worked seamlessly across platforms without sacrificing the security and features I’ve come to depend on. After some research, NordPass stood out—it’s highly rated and frequently ranks first on review sites. The timing couldn’t have been better, as there was a decent Black Friday deal on offer.However, despite the glowing reviews, my experience fell short due to one major issue: NordPass doesn’t work with Safari. This was a dealbreaker for me, as Safari is my primary browser. I reached out to their support team, and to their credit, the experience was smooth and efficient. After explaining my issue and requesting a refund, the money was back in my account in less than 24 hours.NordPass has a lot going for it—competitive pricing, strong reviews, and great customer support. However, its lack of compatibility with Safari makes it a non-starter for those reliant on Apple’s ecosystem. If you primarily use Chrome or other browsers, it might still be worth considering. But for Safari users, you’ll likely need to look elsewhere.
Desktop version was MUCH better

The old desktop version of this worked flawlessly with Safari. I only installed this as I had a notification that the desktop app extension would soon be discontinued.Unfortunately the App Store version just does not work. It is very inconsistent with even showing the NordPass icon in relevant fields, and on any site where there is a two-step login (entering email to bring up a subsequent page asking for a password), the icon just doesn't appear. There is a workaround to click the icon in Safari, locate the site, manually copy the password, and paste it into the relevant field... but it is clunky and a real step backwards vs the old extension.Please fix this or I will have to consider reverting back to Apple Keychain!
Needs better ongoing support

Confusingly, there are a number of different versions of this App available for MacOS. Nordpass used to work fine on my MacBook Pro running 13.7.8 as a standalone application available from the App store, but now seems it has to be embedded in Safari which is not my first choice of browser. There is an App based version on the website but in order to download it you have to break the security that Apple have built in to their hardware.NordPass needs to be looked at and a sensible strategy for MacOS is needed going forward.
