Surprisingly there’s a lot of people that aren’t parents on the app which negates the point of the app. Also; the paid version is a lot to commit to without at least having a trial as there are many apps that allow much more features. You can’t even browse on the profile which means I wouldn’t be inclined to spend much time on the app to care enough about the other features.

You can’t even browse on the profile which means I wouldn’t be inclined to spend much time on the app to care enough about the other features.

I urge you to disregard the four-star rating for this app, as it does not reflect the reality of user experiences, which are largely negative. Like many other users, I was directed to this app from Plenty of Fish, initially thinking it was free. I set up a profile only to discover it costs £10 for just a one-week subscription. At such an exorbitant rate, I expected a premium experience, but I was sorely disappointed. The app has a limited user base, with many profiles located over 200 miles away, and there is no distance filter, likely due to the low number of subscribers. This situation is embarrassing for Plenty of Fish, which should take a closer look at its affiliations. Overall, I strongly advise against using this app; it definitely should be free given its subpar quality and lack of features. It’s deleted within a day.!!

Your own profile visibility to others has also become really REALLY bad since the update. I used to get at least 2-3 likes a week and now my profile has only been viewed about 15 times in about 3 weeks. Paying used to feel optional and was still a great app without it but now it feels mandatory, pay to see more people, pay to give likes, pay to be seen, pay to see who’s liked you. Yes, these were there before but it was much easier and less ‘in your face’ than it is now. Really disappointing and no longer worth your time let alone the extortionate amount of money they demand for premium

I work as a child psychologist and the safeguarding concerns around this app are ridiculous. It’s a p£dophiles paradise. Statistically, the person most likely to abuse a child is a parents new partner. P£dophiles target single mothers and this app hands them out on a platter. Allowing people without children to join is the biggest red flag I have ever seen. At work we’ve heard of a ‘p£dophiles handbook’ circulating the dark web, and one piece of its advice is to go on dating apps and look for single parents with children. This app was clearly made without any sort of educational, psychological or safeguarding input, which is abhorrent considering the target audience is single parents
