works really well and has some good features. also doubles as a generic map to see how far each of us travel from home. app does give daft speed readings sometimes, like i could travel x distance in y time and it would tell me i reached a top speed of 121mph which is not possible where i travel. it gives me something to laugh about

The app at first is a cute way to connect with your partner. However the pet feature is where it loses all appeal as a result of threats. Initially it’s fun and you can look after your pet with your partner if that’s what you choose to do.The positives; The map is a nice function and allows for reminders when someone arrives at a set location or leaves, this is slightly delayed but doesn’t present an issue.The art design and direction is appealing and is nice to look at.The overbearing negative;The issues arise when real money is spent within the app, if you purchase a pet and over time don’t fulfil the tasks, the pet is “taken away”. You are met with the message;“To Pet Owner• Your pet has felt lonely and hungry for too long, so we've temporarily taken it under Love8's care.Please ensure your pet is always cared for.It eagerly awaits your love.Note:This is your first warning and there's no penalty.A second incident will result in a 1000 gold coin fine.After a third incident, your pet will not survive.”The issue with this is there is no permanence for your purchase with real money and to believe they intend to fine you in game money as a result and then finally killing off your pet and as a result revoking your purchase of which no warning was made at the time of purchase that this was a possibility. This is borderline fraudulent and unfortunate. This app made for couples to experience together becomes a chore, draining and not worth the time or any real money you may wish to spend on it. The art design and respect for that who created as well as the developers on the backend not involved in these decisions are the only reason it receives 2 stars instead of 1.

I do not recommend this app for couples. The location feature is extremely inaccurate and caused a serious argument between me and my partner.When we were walking towards each other and were still about 1 km apart, the app was already showing that we were together. Even worse, on another occasion I was at home the entire time, but the app showed my location moving around as if I was going somewhere else. At one point, it even showed me at a completely random house while I was actually somewhere completely different.I have screenshots proving this. Thankfully, my Google location history showed my real location correctly, otherwise this situation could have seriously damaged my relationship. We almost broke up because of incorrect information from this app.An app designed for couples should not create mistrust because its main features are unreliable. If you want to share your location with your partner, I strongly recommend using Google Maps or Apple Find My instead.For us, this app caused problems rather than bringing us closer. I would not recommend it to couples who value trust in their relationship.

Good features but could use tweaking. Life 360 is better for basic features but this is good for more cutesy couple related features like the pet and messaging features.1) Date of relationship starting is set at the date you install the app which is weird.2) Notification of arriving and leaving is quite delayed.
