Amazing app!

I do shift work and have used this app for the last few years since I was recommended it by a work colleague. I used to have to print off a calendar, go through and highlight my day/night shifts and off days in different colours, then add on holiday days when I book them, then amend holidays if they were cancelled etc. This led to the calendar looking very messy even just half way through the year. But, this app has solved all those issues. It is very easy to input your shifts you just choose your pattern and it does it all for you, if you need to add holiday you just click an icon, if you need to amend it you just click that icon again, it has made my work pattern very transparent and much easier to plan my life around it. With the pro features you can track your holiday taken and the dates it was taken on, which makes it soo easy to see how much holiday you have left. If you don’t want to pay for the pro version they have allowed you to watch a short advert and have your chosen pro feature active for 12 hours, which is a great idea! All in all a brilliant app and would highly recommend to anyone.

I have tried lots of shift planners in the past. Due to complex nature of my shifts and the need to be able to include ad hoc days of training, I have never been able to find a planner that gives me the level of customisation that I required. I started using My Shift Planner some years ago and found that it was able to provide exactly whatever my shift variation my employer decided to throw our way. In addition I purchased the pro pack and was impressed by the addition flexibility this provided.I had never had any issues with any of the updates until very recently when the app was requested a log in each time I opened it. I sent a note off to the developers and received back a reply quickly and one that was personalised my the issue I was experiencing suggesting a number of solutions, which were successful, but had that not been they had requested that I come back to them. Too often one writes to a developer only to receive a generic reply that totally fails to address the issue. An excellent app which works with equally good support.

Fluffy is SO DISSAPOINTED
Can’t fault this app in any way, if I could give it 10 stars I would! I have been using MyShiftPlanner consistently for the 3 years or so and find it extremely user friendly and flexible. I work on a rolling rota which isn’t common, found it easy to create the pattern which carries on for any duration you require as you choose the end date. My rota has changed 3 times during my usage, it was very easy to change. You can create shifts with colours and names for different shifts (days, twilights, nights, covering specific staff, overtime, events to block of certain dates etc) which are easy to pop onto your rota or remove as required. Also includes holiday, OT, payday icons etc. I am using the free version and have found it meets all my needs. Customer service is incredible, had a tiny blip with my rota which was responded to and rectified very swiftly by the incredible customer service team. Cannot recommend MyShiftPlanner enough to anyone who has ever changing shifts!
