So I’ve only given this game a 4 stars because I haven’t played for too long. I would give it 5 but I think that may be too much. Now I’ll get into my review. So I got this game about a week or so ago after I saw the ad. It looked brilliant so I downloaded it. First thing I see is a beautiful cutscene of a few pirate ships sailing.I was so excited now. The cutscenes just kept on getting better. The game itself was also amazing. It’s quite easy and a fun way to pass time. The upgrades aren’t hard to get as all you need to do is spend gems. Luckily, it isn’t hard to get gems at all. I was on 500, then I spent some but a few minutes later I was ion 700. The only thing I would say is that they should lay no sim card people be able to play this game in the car. Whoever made this game, well done. Ty ate the end of my review……..

This game was great to start with when it first came out. I have been playing non stop every day since then and used to enjoy it immensely. Then 4 months ago, new ‘updates’ started , with each bringing need to spent more money just to keep up . There are now various glitches in the game which have not been taken care of. Customer service is not good, with no issue being sorted out, but get a stock reply or a meaningless reply, and the ticket closed. Not just me, but many is my and other gangs. There are so many new features, that only good spenders can advance in the game. Many whales have stopped playing because of this. The graphics and game play itself is good, and the fact that you dont lose anything if attacked by whales is a good thing. The gang i am in is great, which is a plus point for me. But the glitches are getting worse, and the increasing need to spend money is pushing players to stop altogether. Even the developers reply is devious, cause they say there are going to be better changes, only to have another feature which needs massive spending !

To be honest the game isn’t too bad. As long as you treat it as such. However once you’re past a certain level all they want is money. Spending that hard earned money is the only way to grow, because there are players that spend thousands and sink you in one shot. So I recently paid to transfer seas… (as many do) and it wasn’t cheap! Only for the next day an update made it so that I wouldn’t have had to pay anything. Had I known I would not have paid! Upon contacting in game support all they tell you is a load of rubbish. Try and palm you off. By saying, them giving everyone in game 50 emeralds compensation is the fairest way to do it. Now for me I see this as a thanks for your money now do one. To finish… if I wasn’t so invested in this game money wise I would delete it. Don’t download this game unless you’re rich or just have money to burn. Just to clarify, the in game support will not support you. They will just keep palming you off with the same response written in a different way. They do not help you, they just want your money

If you’re Russian (based on experience with players and Devs). The game is great, but to progress you must spend money. VIPs are spending $1000s, and they are identifiable by the gold frame around their avatar, they also have access to an echo service apparently, another way to find out info, or influence development of the game. When you progress through seasons there will always be a really strong Russian player (maxed out), people wonder if this is a Dev player, someone designed to make you spend more, I can’t confirm or deny that. You might find that you will chase the dream with the rest of your gang, but are they real? F2P is hard slog, so I’ll say, it’ll take a lot of hard earned cash if you want to go anywhere.
