These dramas are entertaining, the short episodes do hook you in too! But the amount of ads is insane! Add to open the app, add to start watching a drama, adds in between going to different parts of the app, ad if your screen locks and then you want to continue. These ads can be over a minute long! I’d have been tempted to buy a subscription but £40 for a month is too expensive, especially when there’s other apps which are more reasonable with their pricing. Cheapest would be a years subscription for £199 so approx £16 a month but that’s a big investment (especially in one go) for the average person like me. The first 5-10 episodes of a story are usually free which helps however, some stories have 100 episodes! As a consumer Surely a weekly pass should be closer to £10 and not £20?! I am reliant on watching the episodes through collecting the daily bonuses. Plus you also get 5 episodes extra through watching ads once your coins run out. The story episodes are all priced differently so it can very how many episodes you can access through the daily rewards. I think the daily reward is 185 coins which is about 3 episodes..So if a story was 100 episodes, 90 episodes needing 80 coins as an example it would take almost 5 weeks of using the app daily to watch it all! I would definitely subscribe if the prices were more affordable as there’s lots of choice but I can’t with the prices they’re asking for.

So I saw a 27 minute video on Facebook and thought “hmm interesting story, I’ll give it a try”. I could not be more disappointed in an app or Facebook community page if I tried. First of all, each episode is probably no more than 2 minutes long, and an add which pops up after every episode and before the next one is longer than the episodes!!! Seriously??? You cannot select an episode to start off with, so if you say the 27 minute video on Facebook, you have to rewatch the thing, wasting credits (admittedly the first load are free to view) but the rest are all locked. You can only get 5 free episodes per day upon viewing adverts. The cost of credits is atrociously high considering the terrible quality of these stories, the cinema doesn’t even charge this amount for a movie, or even a sub with Netflix! Come on guys!!!! It’s a pure money grabber and a terribly put together one at that. Upon signing up I was asked to link Facebook and all that and I’ll get free credits etc. so I did, why not. I was directed to a page ShortMax something admin’d by “James brown”, to which there was a post about suggestions. They did not like my short but polite suggestion of “I’d suggest maybe making episodes longer, have less adds, and reducing the cost of credits because it’s too expensive. And maybe allow users to choose which episodes that can start watching from”, basically. My comment was removed immediately. I rewrote it nicely and again it was swiftly removed. They clearly do not like confrontation when asked or questioned about these methods and is simply an unworthy choice. “Freedom of speech” is a thing, but they won’t allow it on their page, even when they asked for it. Shame really, they could be amazing if they wanted to be

I found this app from TikTok and I expected a app that had long episodes of the billionaire unwanted bride. I instead got many smaller episodes with 3 adds in between each episode. This app has great stories but a single episode costs 80 coins. I am a type of person who doesn’t want to pay £16 for this type content, short. The only good thing about what they have done is making you watch an ad for 1 minute just to get an episode free. You can do this do this 5 times which in my opinion is quite short. 10 times in my opinion is fair. It is unknown to me if the refills in their scheme work but if they don’t refill every 24 hours, then this app certainly disappoints me. I don’t plan on downloading this app ever again until they fix it. For this, they get 2 stars

Usually don’t write reviews but thought it was best to share my experience as others have done and so others are aware and don’t fall for it. I signed up for a weekly pass as I got sucked in by those tiktok adverts. They say you can cancel it through your iPhone subscriptions but it didn’t even give me that option, it didn’t even appear among the others I have. I hoped that meant it would just cancel after the week but of course it didn’t, I got charged for an extra week - silly me. I contacted them and got a reply immediately saying they would look into it, from the speed it came through after sending my initial email it was clearly an already pre-made email they send out. Since then I have had no contact from them despite emailing them again. It’s funny they are quick to send out an email if the subscription payment doesn’t go through but if you’re trying to cancel your subscription they ghost you! If I could give zero stars I would.
