I quickly decided it was the right one for me and went to Pro and think I've made the right decision.I come back to this review a year later as I have just re-subscribed. I can sincerely say that Letterly feels like a sort of ‘smart companion’ to assist me for whenever I need to get my thoughts written down — without losing clarity or wasting time typing. For anyone who often finds themselves jotting ideas, writing emails, journaling or creating content, Letterly is an excellent, time-saving tool.

Sure, this is absolutely fantastic for dictating work emails and getting them edited really well. Content creations also. Even just for that, this app would be amazing. But what blows my mind is the "Journal" edit - I will talk and record as I verbally journal my day, worries, hopes, fears and emotions, and not only will this app do a thematic analysis and group stray thoughts and events together into a pattern, but they will also analyse what you have said and share that analysis with you as a summary. It's like having a mini psychology session! The insights are so succinct and hard-hitting, and really helps you understand yourself and your situation so much better. Definitely top 3 of the best money I've spent on an app.

I never really leave reviews for anything, but I use Letterly daily and it's fantastic - it's particularly good for my mind which always has randome stuff popping into it - letterly's transcription is unbelievably accurate, really fast, the AI rewrites are fantastic and you can build custom rewrite AI options to suit whatever you need. Then tagging and organising things means that everything is so easily searchable.I just spotted that this only had 33 reviews on the app store and wasn't getting the recognition it deserves so I thought I'd write my piece.
