I was trying to find a free audiobook app. I stumbled across this app and thought to myself “wow this app looks amazing!” It had the title free books so instinctively I thought it was free! It was amazing and I was answering the questions with absolutely no payment whatsoever! I thought this was a game changer until it asked me to start a free trial and then I would have to pay… you literally have the title “FreeBooks”!! I was really annoyed about that but it genuinely looks like a good app if you want to pay the money, personally I don’t.

The core app includes unlimited online reading at no cost, and also offers 3 free audiobooks per month without a FreeBooks+ subscription. The free trial you saw is only for FreeBooks+, our optional premium upgrade that adds offline downloads, unlimited audiobooks, and removes ads.We appreciate you pointing out how this could be confusing, and we’re working to make the difference between the free app and FreeBooks+ much clearer in the app.
