Ive always played these on a web browser and when i found out there was an app, i downloaded it, but whenever i try to open it, it just crashes. I love the app, and all the makers and everything, but using the web browser can be tricky, especiwlly if you forget to save it to your photos and you have to find the picrew again then remake it. But otherall, what ive seen on the web browser its so much fun. But i hope this problem gets fixed.

So uhh, I love Picrew, great place to source inspiration, great place to make things, all good, but the second I open the app, the millisecond it’s bright white light fills my screen, it closes. I don’t think this is a client side issue, I’ve shut down my iPad, restarted it, even reinstalled the app, but that hasn’t worked. I’m super hesitant to use the webpage, as it is stock full of ads, and causes my iPad to lag for the whole duration of me using the website + a tad longer (about 5 mins after?). I would like to support this app and the creators on it, but if they cut down on the ads to improve problems like this, it would benefit everyone, because more people would also be inclined to use the app.
Stop pushing your luck with the adverts

Look. My laptop has several adblockers that all work perfectly, and make the picrew website a lot more bearable to be on, but I’ve been using your app instead (where I don’t have adblockers) because the convenience was enough to make me put up with ads. I just had one of those stupid audio-only ads come up for the first time, and I swear to god, I will delete this app and return to the safety of my adblockers if this app keeps shoving ads down my throat. Your app was convenient and fun, but it’s on thin ice. Please consider making it more bearable for the humans using it, or some of us are gonna return to using Picrew without your monetisation. Dial it back, for gods sake.
Developer Response
Thank you for your review. We will share your feedback with our management team for future reference. We are planning to introduce a paid system for removing ads soon! We look forward to your continued support of Picrew.
Love making my Picrews

Love seeing all of people’s creative works and art styles across the site! So much fun to recreate myself and my characters 🥰I will say though that at the moment the app is immediately crashing when I try to open it so I’m having to resort to browser version until that’s fixed 😭 Here’s hoping whatever is causing that issue will be fixed.
Made minor fixes.
