Requirement:
The AI tools require at least 4G RAM for best image. If the device has less than 4GB RAM memory, lesser weight(memory) will be used for the specific AI starless, AI oval and AI satellite, and it will produce degraded results with maximum image size of 1080x1920. This is to prevent crashes due to run out of memory. You can check your device RAM by going to this app Help section.

New Feature:
AstroEdit uses AI to automate the complex comet stacking. Currently, user needs to stack first for the stars and second for the comet since they moves at different speeds. Then he has to blend them together and do further edition on another program on a laptop. AstroEdit makes comet stacking quick and simple.

Been using for a while now, as the title says it is quite prone to crashing (usually when you are nearly finished editing). Makes it very frustrating as you have to start all over again and you never quite seem to get the edits as good the second time around.Doesn’t seem capable of handling big files (tiffs) which is annoying as they contain quite a lot more than a jpeg .The TIFF’s produced by my smart telescope can vary from 70MB up to over 250MB. These are too big for me to email to you. I think you have answered my query that the TIFF files are too large (at times) for the app to cope with. I have been able to pre-stretch one of these TIFF’s and then finish off editing the resulting JPEG in AstroEdit. 👍

Hi. TIFF is raw format. If the tiff file is big, the app may run out of memory. Could you send your tiff file to ustransit74@gmail.com? I should be able to find out the real cause and optimise AstroEdit to work on the tiff file. Would then provide an app update. Thank you very much.

Great for quick Seestar FITS edits

This is a great app - nice one developer! I can quickly export raw files from my Seestar, save to my phone and then import the fit file into this app. It’s lets you do some quick edits to bring out details, colour etc, even gradient reduction. You can then export as a tif so you can further edit in Lightroom. There are loads of features. Denoise wasn’t quite strong enough but overall this is a great app for a quick mobile workflow. There is nothing else available like it - I’d highly recommend for any Seestar or Dwarf user if wanting to edit on the go

This is exactly the app I needed for a phone-only processing stack. The number of astro specific edit features available on a phone is frankly unbelievable. I am extremely impressed. The updates for the app keep adding great new features. Maybe one day there could be a pro version that could handle FITS files, but I appreciate that would be a significant amount of work!
