I use the desktop version and impressed with it but don’t always have access to computer when out and about. I am really impressed with results from this app. You don’t get all the refinement tools that you do on a desktop version but it does an amazing job. Have been really impressed and with each update it seems to get better and better. Any chance of an iPad version?

Been using this for 2 weeks and the tech is really impressive at increasing photo quality, but the app has so many problems. It’s always very slow (I assume due to processing power on my phone which is understandable), but about 1 in 4 photos load 99% of the way and then say ‘cloud error’ right at the end, even with perfect internet. I updated the app last night to the newest version and it’s almost unusable now. Whenever I look at another app while my photos are loading, and then go back to Gigapixel, it instantly signs me out every single time. The new version is also extremely poorly optimised for small iPhone screens (I’m using an iPhone SE with larger text) and there are lots of overlapping boxes and window so I can’t click on some options. I also can no longer see any way of deleting my photos to free up storage- is the option hidden behind the unoptimised UI? Finally I often how to redownload ‘general enhance’ tool for some reason which takes a long time. This is the main tool on the app and the one I exclusively use; why is it uninstalled by default? Would pay for a subscription if there weren’t the above issues, but currently it’s too frustrating to use

Tried this on trial to see what it can do. For photos of people that are blurred it does a pretty good job of sharpening the image and using AI to add detail that’s not in the original image. However, most modern mobiles have good cameras so the enhancements didn’t have much effect on the images I tried. Also the AI had some odd behaviours such as turning text in the background into nonsense. I was also interested in the upscaling capabilities but the £7.50/m sub only allow upscale to 16 MegaPixels which is almost the same as the native camera on my mobile. Superficially the enhancements do give some perceived improvements but look closer and you’ll see the AI often take liberties with the original image even at normal ‘creativity’. This imo creates an artificial image which is too far from the original to be something I’d want to say was my work. The AppStore screen shots suggest its main use is to improve close up portraits of faces rather than as a general photo enhancement tool. At a minimum of £7.50/month and far more for the premium feature upgrade that’s just too much money for too little for me to subscribe.

Edit: After beta rectified to full release I was treated to my free credits. Tested on several types of my old photographs and to be honest it’s no better than other free AI enhancement tools out there, nothing like the ads promise. It’s good for photos that are already good, making them a bit better. But steer clear of any hopes of magically turning old blurry images into anything resembling normal. If you do there’s still a lot of manual work to clean up the mess the AI conjures up from its twisted imagination.I was apparently chosen as a valued customer and was promised a month or so ago that if I pre ordered I’d get 100 free credits so on launch I looked forward to trying out this promising app. Nothing. Can’t even use the Pro option or buy credits, I managed to get 1 image done but faces only. Terrible, Remini 5 years ago done a better job. Try harder.
