Edit: I have deleted the game. The developer response is poor. There is no “challenge” in pay-to-win mechanics, just how much money you’re willing to fork over. In order to finish the weekly flower chest you literally HAVE to make a purchase (forget the weekly themed event, because the items needed for orders are almost all high level from Friday to Sunday meaning progress grinds to a complete halt unless you pay for energy or gems to buy anything from the store, and I wonder how many people don’t even know about the shooting star power because it’s only active from 12-4 in the morning). Seems to be a running theme. In my case it’s that the game was advertised as not pay-to-win. It very much is, unless you’re happy to play for a few minutes every day, and waiting the rest of the time for energy to refill. Events are impossible to complete without paying for energy or gems to exchange for items/energy in the shop. The game plays well but is ruined by the aggressively pushed microtransactions. The energy cap cannot be raised, and it’s used up so fast. You’ll also have to decide if you want to do any of the events, or max the items generators for the rewards, unless you’re going to fork out money for the energy. The blueberry pot is the worst example so far, it takes six energy to generate a single item, and it is random between two different types of item, so the maximum that can be gained from that single generator is about 15 items, compared to up to ONE HUNDRED items for the other energy-consuming generators.
We’re sorry the balance between free play and paid options has felt limiting. Energy restrictions are part of the game’s pacing, but we understand how they can make events difficult to complete without purchases. Your feedback on energy cap, consumption rate, generator output, and event accessibility has been shared with the team to review, so they can look at ways to make progression more achievable while maintaining challenge.
