The Heidi remote is a very intuitive and use a friendly device. It is absolutely amazing that the price of a button that you can start a new transcription or a dictation and it all works perfectly. I’ve tried it with the Bluetooth on and off and it sync perfectly when the Bluetooth comes on again. I think this is going to be an absolute game changer, especially when I want to quickly do a note or during wardrobes.

The concept of ensh|tification is now a well-established economic and technological phenomenon, which eventually affects most products and services in advanced countries. What is surprising in Heidi, is how rapidly the process has begun. How long has Heidi been around - just over a year? When it launched it seemed like such a good idea, and worked reasonably well. Over the last few months, prices have shot up and quality shot down. I ipened it yesterday, and the app WOULD NOT EVEN LAUNCH. Just a black screen. Not something you want to happen when there’s so much to deal with. I’m sure I’ll be told of the solution shortly — “all you have to do is spend $999 GAZILLION, then we will let your app open, and you can record whatever your Wifi, but most importantly we get even wealthier with YOUR money!!!” So depressing.

I used to love this - so helpful. Unfortunately it seems to have developed problems over the last few months where it will stop transcribing for a random period of time or halfway through a note. This happens across desktop and iPad and phone apps. Even when you refresh or it says it’s transcribing it doesn’t always fix the issue. This is making consultations more stressful! I’ve contacted support twice but not had any decent solution. I think they’ve introduced too many new or beta features quickly but to the detriment of the main purpose of the software, which used to work perfectly!

I’m so incredibly pleased with Heidi. So easy to use and generate properly formatted psychiatry notes in minutes, ready before you’re back to your office after the consultation. I’m happy that it doesn’t store audio recordings for confidentiality and data safety reasons and before I purchased it, I was reassured by the facts that Heidi Health is compliant with the NHS Digital Technology Assessment Criteria (DTAC). It completes the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) and follows risk-analysis guidelines.
