My comments relate to the ‘Pro’ version. This app seems very distinct from the plethora of ‘a wrapper on ChatGPT’ apps being released at the moment, local speech recognition and low battery usage.I left it running in my pocket during a public lecture, where there was a real-time transcription displayed. The official transcript was full of errors, but the TwinMind transcript was far more accurate. However, the AI-generated notes in TwinMind were astoundingly good with absolutely no errors I can spot. I would be very happy to use this to take notes in a meeting unless secure info was being discussed. It would do a better job than I could, however there are bound to be times when it is ‘confidently wrong’, so a sound recording (not provided by this app) would be useful for checking. I think as time goes on, it will be invaluable. I have assigned it to my phone’s action button.

Firstly full disclosure, I got the pro version of this app via AppAdvice lifetime free offer so I’m prepared to put up with its quirks, but I might be a bit disappointed had I paid full price. The app itself is excellent. It’s by far the best AI transcription app I have tried. It does a great job of pulling out the relevant parts of meetings and providing an overview with action points etc. the annoying part isn’t the app it’s the fact that I was offered free lifetime access but I keep getting promoted to record x more meetings before I get pro! If you’re going to offer a pro upgrade then that’s what you should get and not have to jump through hoops. The second and most annoying quirk is the constant emails from the developer. It borders on stalking!! I tried to unsubscribe multiple times getting confirmation each time only to keep getting more! Fortunately I used an alias to sign up so in the end I just turned it off to stop getting emails, which is a shame as this also means I don’t get the occasional useful email like reminders.

We've found that because users didn't pay an upfront cost, they sometimes miss the app's true value if they don't use it enough. We set that goal to ensure you really experience the 'magic' of the insights over a few sessions - we want to make sure you get the best experience possible!However, the email issue is entirely our fault. Unsubscribing should absolutely stop the messages, and I apologise that it hasn't. We treat this as a top priority and have checked our systems, where the links appear to be working correctly.
