Terrible. Didn't work at all. I don't think this app has been kept up-to-date as Apple has updated the OS. Offline map didn't load properly and was blurred. GPS didn't work at all. Fortunately we realised the app didn't really work before we entered the gates so paid €8 for the audio guide once we were there - take a pair of earphones and this is your best and most reliable way of getting a good cheap guide.
Definitely worth it, download before you go!

Much better than the 5 euro audio tours you need to leave your passport for, download on wifi before you go as its over 100mb . Wish I'd known before as you can pick and choose what to see as you go, don't trust the maps as so much is under renovation you never know which roads and buildings are open, many were shut when we went in August 2015. Pictures really help and the info is limited but good as unless you go for 2 days and are extremely fit its hard to walk the entire town. Definitely recommended for the money

Wrote a long review, my phone deleted/lost it.Not recommend: - annoying computer voice- accidental taps to the screen restart / stop audio- cannot listen to audio with screen off (to save battery)The above all distracted me from enjoying Pompei.I would recommend an alternative or an audio guide there (8eur) and definitely the small red thin printed guide.The GPS is handy but not essential.

Was all ready to go with this app but it did not work. This should be removed from the App Store with immediate effect.
