LibriVox has kept me entertained for many years now. The quality of most of the readers is infallible, and the rest are still very good. There’s such a range of literature to listen to and it’s perfect for car journeys, bath time or before going to sleep... to name but a few. I recommend it to my friends and I rely on it during my downtime. Keep up the good work!

Normally a great app, but in this latest version the navigation controls have gone! You can no longer jump to previous chapter or next chapter. Nor can you slide a control to go to a certain point within that chapter. Those control buttons and slider have simply gone! The only way now to go to another chapter is to go back to the chapter list and select that other chapter.(The 'skip' buttons are still there, but they only skip forward or back about 15 seconds. And on the lock screen you can still 'slide' forward and back within the chapter but you can't gi to next or previous chapters even on the lock screen.)I have resorted to using an old phone which still has the previous good version of the app on it. Kicking myself for 'upgrading' to this version when it was working ok before. Looking at how to 'downgrade' to the previous version, but that's never easy. I hope the developers can fix the problem soon!
Pretty good, a few glitches, improvements possible

It’s great to have a such a range of audiobooks available. There’s a few visual glitches, and a problem going back to a chapter that has just played (it will go back to the end of the last chapter, and then restart the current chapter). It’s nice to be able to favourite readers, and an improvement would be the ability to filter searches using only favourited readers.The LibriVox website has links to Gutenberg website to get the ebook version. Would be good if the app had an similar link. Perhaps even a follow-along reader thing which highlights the currently read text (using speech recognition on the audio file?)

A great fat Trollope, it has to be said, but it makes for the most enjoyable and compulsive listening. The volunteers are all to be commended; what a great joy to come across Milne Nicholson’s voice, made so familiar by her rendition of Dickens. A couple of volunteers however where not so good, and it requires considerable effort to follow their reading.
