I have been using Summary AI for a few days and have been enjoying the insights I am getting from my transcribed interviews. The app is quite holistic in that it gives a summary, a transcript and an opportunity to ask questions via the chat function. Really useful tool for my studies right now..and I love the fact that I can export files as pdf or text!!!

Being hard of hearing - I can totally see that this would be so useful even for everyday conversation- just trying it but impressed so far- edited to add I’m having an issue with live transcription on the iOS app. I recently upgraded from an iPhone 14 to an iPhone 17, and since then the app no longer shows live transcription while recording. On my previous phone, the transcript appeared in real time as I spoke, but on the iPhone 17 it only appears after I stop the recording. I’ve checked all permissions (Microphone, Background App Refresh, etc.), but the app never requests access to Speech Recognition, and it also doesn’t appear under Settings → Privacy & Security → Speech Recognition. This suggests the current iOS build of the app may not be declaring the Speech Recognition entitlement required for real‑time transcription on newer devices. Could you confirm whether this is a known issue with the iPhone 17/iOS version, and whether an update is planned to restore live transcription on iOS? Thanks very much — I really rely on this feature.

I have had this issue since purchasing the app and it just says that AI can’t join meetings MS teams or outlook. Have reached out to the Summary team but the response is slow to say the least. This app is being sold as it can join outlook meetings. I don’t think it can and there are probably better apps that can. disappointing really. Be warned that the support team aren’t that good and come back with stock answers. Chats are good if they are answered in time. This is a very delayed chat so be warned if you have an issue don’t expect a quick response. Don’t pay for this app.
