I too downloaded this app and paid for it and got charged twice. I have since got a refund for the duplicated payment however I had to write a few emails. I dnt know why the developers think it is acceptable to take two payments. One on trial then again when u purchase. Worse is I never had a trial. Today I note there is another series which has a padlock on it. £40 nearly and u still have sections locked. Highly overcharged app with what bring offered given additional charges for other in house apps. A lot to pay to gain knowledge.

Very disappointing experience!

I downloaded this app thinking it would be useful, but it turned out to be a frustrating and expensive mistake. After signing up, I was charged multiple times in one month — £5, £25, and £30 — even though I expected only a single payment. There was no clear warning about these charges, and I couldn’t find any easy way to cancel the subscription inside the app.The content didn’t justify the cost at all, and I felt completely misled by the way payments were handled. I’ve already contacted Apple and my bank to stop future payments. Please check your billing history carefully if you’ve downloaded this app, and make sure to cancel any unwanted subscriptions. Transparency and honesty should be the priority for any service, and sadly, that wasn’t my experience here.

Improvement

I came across this page and liked the sound of this so I went and downloaded the app. I went ahead and created an account but then it asked for payment. Why does it not allow you to experience a little taster session before purchasing the subscription. I think it would give people an idea to what they are paying for. Came back and read all the reviews to then just find that not all the stories are available and they’re only 7-8minutes long. If I didn’t read the reviews I would have purchased but then I would have asked for my refund back which defeats the purpose. Allow people to have a free trial for 3 days and then stop the trial and ask for a fee.
Developer Response
Thank you for your feedback! We understand how a trial period could help users get a better idea of what the app offers before committing to a subscription. We’re always looking for ways to improve the user experience, and we’ll pass along your suggestion about offering a free trial to our team for consideration.
Needs improvement

Ayatique Quran Stories is a good app with potential, but I feel it could be improved. It would be more beneficial if it allowed users to read the text while listening to the audio, so learning becomes easier and more interactive. Additionally, having an Arabic version alongside the translations would make it more accessible for those who want to understand and learn the Quran in its original language. These additions would make the app more user-friendly and impactful.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! We’ll be sure to forward your suggestions to our development team for consideration in future updates. Thanks again for sharing, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team at support@ayatique.ai if you have more ideas or concerns!
