I like the way you can simply log details like sail changes, course alterations, engine use, weather changes etc without leaving the cockpit. So there’s no excuse! Time and position are automatically logged and the ability to automatically collect weather data at the start of voyage is nice (though I wonder which provider is used.)
- Merge ships: combine two ships into one from Settings → Merge ships. If you have two ships with the same name, the app will suggest merging them.
- Better iCloud sync status: a "Syncing" indicator in the toolbar, clear messages when something goes wrong, and an "iCloud sync" row in Settings showing when you last synced.
- Setting up a new device: if you already use Log on another device, the app now waits for your ships to download from iCloud instead of asking you to add a new one.
- Bug fixes and improvements.
