I really want to love it, but three things are actively holding it back.1. The voice reader is… not it.The built-in narration voice is nowhere near as clear or pleasant as Siri on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. That’s wild. When asking Siri to read the same page sounds noticeably better than the app’s own reader, something’s gone very wrong. Listening for long periods becomes a chore instead of a feature.2. Background playback straight-up doesn’t work properly.Every time I lock my phone or switch apps while a chapter is playing, the narration stops. Instantly. This is incredibly annoying, especially since these novels run into the thousands of chapters. I want to listen while doing other things — like literally every other audiobook app allows — but I just… can’t.3. Chapter navigation via percentages is a nightmare.Using a percentage slider instead of a simple “Next Chapter” system is frustrating. One tiny slip of the finger and suddenly you’re hundreds of chapters ahead. Who actually knows what percentage of a book they’re on? A basic next/previous chapter button or a side index would be far more practical and user-friendly.Bottom line:The content is great, but the user experience needs serious work. Fix the narration voice, enable proper background playback, and overhaul chapter navigation — and this app could easily jump from “meh” to must-have.

I honestly have no idea why the rating is so low it works perfectly fine for me the amount of ads isn’t even a lot and doesn’t really disrupt the reading experience. Honestly solid app overall
