All in all, this game is really fantastic. I feel like it’s perfectly pitched to be easier in the beginning, but become more challenging quickly as you progress - since I find when a game is easy for a long time it gets boring. The only thing I would mention is I feel the level difficulty labels need to be revised - some of them feel much more difficult than they are labelled to be. I feel like the number of ads compared to other mobile games is very fair. They tend to be very short, and there is only one after each game, never interrupting you during play. A suggestion I would like to make is to maybe add a ‘relaxed’ game mode, where you can swap to a non-timed version if you’d like, for a different play style - but I wouldn’t want this affecting my progress on the timed challenges, as they are really fun! This is such a good game, and thank you for making it!
Good potential but a few flaws that prevent me from enjoying the game completely.
random, weird, crazy cat!
This game is unique and fun to play but has a few frustrating flaws. The most frustrating thing is the timer. The timer prevents me from enjoying the game. This game needs an option where the timer is removed (not one where it costs real money like in the new tickets feature). Don’t remove the timer feature completely as it creates a good challenge but consider creating a ‘peaceful’ game mode where you can just play to relax not get stressed out constantly. Another thing to note is that when your free lives run out you have to use coins to refuel them or watch one advert to get one life. I am already bombarded with adverts and it puts me off completely from playing. If the lives were unlimited (like most other mobile games) then it would actually give me a chance to become engrossed whereas it just annoys me and forces me to stop playing, then I forget about the app for a few days, I’m assuming this is not what you want app users to be doing. Another problem is that the ads are £8 to remove? Ridiculous. If it was £3 I would pay it but £8 is extortionate. Not a very smart tactic as very few people are likely to pay that price.

Fun game if you can play, too buggy for my iPad

Update: The developers say they fixed the bug. It’s no longer crashes, but the adverts still don’t appear and the in-app purchase button still keeps circling forever. I don’t mind not being able to see the ads or pay for the game, so I’ll keep playing. (Previous review> It’s a fun game and I like the pretty ‘meow’ noise every time a cat is caught. BUT it’s extremely buggy. At first, it didn’t load anything to do with adverts or in-app purchase; the buttons turned round and round endlessly. I don’t mind not being able to purchase, but it can be annoying when I want to get one more play by watching the ad. However, since the system upgrade, it now keeps coming up with ‘pre-advert warning’ and then crashes every time I failed to complete the game even when I haven’t clicked anything. I tried to play on ‘cus it’s a cute game, but it got so bad I had to delete the app. The app support was useless - they claimed my internet connection must be down, when it is not! FYI I’m using iPad Pro with OS26.2.1. I’m surprised no one seems to have the problem, so maybe the game just decided they don’t like me. :-()

The actual game is great. I love playing and the cats are adorable. But having an ad run before every single game is infuriating. It’s also WAY too fast. The timer barely gives you any time to complete the game and you can only do so after repeating the level several times. That becomes even more frustrating when you’re then served another ad, have to go back to the starting screen, watch another ad and repeat the process. You’re constantly taken out of gaming mode just trying to get through the ads. Then you realise you have used up all of your lives and you have to wait a crazy amount of time for them to regenerate. I’d recommend removing the ad before game play, increasing the timer (if you need one at all), and reducing the time it takes for lives to generate. Or either remove the life timer or the game timer. Perhaps an ad after every second game and the option to watch an ad for extra lives and power ups? It would be nice to be able to watch an ad for a freeze, or a colour removal power up. In its current state, the game is frustrating and stressful.
