more New: follow a team or a competition, even if you are not a member. What you follow shows on Home. Search for a competition by name or code and share the viewing link with parents and fans. Setting up your own competition is quicker: reuse the teams from last time, approve sign-ups and view the full table. Manage your pitches in one place; the home pitch is filled in automatically for a new match.
1.34.0 3 days ago
New: pick a team colour and see it on the match card and the team screen. Create your own competition in two steps, with your team's top scorers and assists included. The opponent screen shows form, chances and results at a glance. Responses and chat photos also work without internet and are sent as soon as you are back online. The tabs at the bottom remember where you were. For the youngest teams the season card counts how often you were there.
1.33.0 8 Oct
New: your own image for each opponent and a list of all your opponents. The match card shows both logos, with the result next to the date. For a competition match you can add scorers and open the table from the card. Staff pick the player of the match directly when there is no vote, and can adjust lineup and playing time after the match too. Also: recent locations, top scorers on the team page and a home screen that shows what you still need to do.
1.32.0 6 Oct
New: search your schedule and your chats. Let the team know you'll be late. Run your own competition: paste the teams, enter results and the table updates itself. A guest can now score or assist. Staff can keep absence reasons private, remove messages in the team chat and get a summary when replies close. Also a calendar link per child, translated milestones and a lineup where anyone can play any position.
1.31.0 30 Sept
New: a nickname for yourself or your child, shown everywhere in the team. Ask on WhatsApp who's coming: parents answer with one tap, no app needed. Paste a list of names and every line becomes a player. Staff can limit player-of-the-match voting to the staff and correct a result. When entering a goal you go straight on to the assist, substitution moments are grouped per moment, and after an update you briefly see what's new.
1.30.0 28 Sept
The opponent page now shows their form at the top, the competition and division, and the matches neatly collapsed. The line-up shows the same names everywhere, also for players who share a first name. Milestones appear in your own language and keep their real date. Fixed: after switching accounts, Stats could still show the previous user, a screen could keep loading, and refreshing then leaving right away could crash the app.
1.29.0 24 Sept
Matches now has three tabs: fixtures and results together, with the standings, the head-to-head record and the win chance in one overview. The statistics page has a podium with medals per category and the squad collapsed at the bottom. Player of the match shows the latest winner. With large text, top scorers, cards and match rows stay readable. Fixed: a wrong setting could make a team disappear from the app, and retrying sometimes started twice.
1.28.0 23 Sept
Statistics renewed: for each team the last match, the form and a player list that suits the age group, plus a personal overview for every player. Parents also see their child's statistics. The team page shows the standings at the top, and the focus card shows when the lineup is known and the previous head-to-head result. Auto-fill also picks players present on the bench. Clearer invitations, and the lineup no longer crashes on small screens.
1.27.0 22 Sept
Dragging players in the lineup now lands correctly on every pitch, including small screens, and auto-fill only picks active players. A location keeps its precise spot and Places lets you try again. Sharing a result keeps working when you switch tabs or scroll. The status on the focus card stays readable on narrow screens. Plus stability fixes.
1.26.1 18 Sept
Tap two players in the lineup and they swap positions, also at a substitution, and the editor now works well on small screens. Auto-fill checks attendance first. Duties get their own rhythm, such as every other Tuesday. Staff see who is missing the app or notifications. A deleted KNVB match stays deleted, and importing a schedule sends one notification. After the match, the match link shows the result; names only if staff turn that on. The notification list shows your answer.
1.26.0 17 Sept
You can now respond straight from the notification: on iPhone with Present and Absent buttons on the push, and on both platforms with the same buttons in the notification centre. Parents answer per child. Notification preferences are now set per team. The attendance list separates players, staff, spectators and people without an account, and after answering you see a short status line instead of the buttons. Plus small fixes.
1.25.0 14 Sept
Your position now shows as a real table row on the Team tab, with league and cup listed separately. You can edit or remove duties straight from the Duties screen. Player of the Match counts this season only again. Address search works outside the Netherlands too. Two trainings on the same evening no longer get the same number. And if a change was not saved, you now hear about it. Plus small fixes.
1.24.0 10 Sept
New: the opponent screen. See at a glance who you are playing: their squad, their form, their place in the league, their top scorers, and the address and phone number of their ground. If that club is not on Ballie yet, you can invite them with one tap. The league table now also sits with the match itself, with both teams marked. The attendance tab is tidier. Your note on an absence is now genuinely staff-only. Plus small fixes.
1.23.0 9 Sept
Inviting is easier. Anyone who opens a team link sees the team and the next match right away, even without an account, and lands in the team straight after signing up. Parents link their child in one step. After entering names you share everyone their own link, with a QR code. Playing time as a form, moment chips in the published lineup and a richer share card. Forgot password works again. Plus small fixes.
1.22.0 8 Sept
New app icon: the full Ballie name in navy and gold. The schedule is tidier: filters as chips at the top, every card shows its date, and a training shows only its start time. On Home you can dismiss or snooze a Today row, and after you answer the card folds into a single line. A new team now clearly chooses between the KNVB, a Ballie competition or planning yourself, and joining via an invite link works even without the app. Plus small fixes.
1.21.0 6 Sept
Ballie has a new app icon: the B on old leather, in navy and gold. Entering a result flows better: an own goal now says who it came from, a penalty asks who took it, and a saved draft can be restored or discarded. The absence sheet went from eight blocks to four. And a crash when sharing your team is fixed.
1.20.0 5 Sept
Ballie has a new icon: a real ball resting in the grass. The card at the top of Home has been laid out again, with a calmer rhythm, no gap in the middle and the time where you look for it. You now see on one line how many people are coming, guests included, so there is nothing left to add up. And a member without a name on the bench showed as an empty substitution; that is fixed.
1.18.0 3 Sept
Every league table your team plays in is really there now: per competition, with all the columns, and on the opponent page the table of their own group. Notifications no longer arrive in the middle of the night, because Ballie knows your phone's time zone. Swap a duty right on its own row, and one button shares the whole season fairly. Adding a match takes one sentence: type it and the form fills itself. Plus three crashes fixed.
1.17.0 3 Sept
Share the jobs in your team: set up driving, kit washing or refereeing, let people claim a slot and see the season balance in one overview. New fixture list? Paste the text or take a photo, and Ballie prepares the matches. Adding a match is quicker with suggestions for opponent, time and place. After the final whistle you get a nudge to fill in the result, with a share card right after saving. Plus a calmer Today screen and two crashes fixed.
1.16.0 2 Sept
Link your child to your own account: one login for the whole family. Coaches can start their own competition with a ready-made match schedule; move a matchday or redistribute unplayed matches with one tap. The programme reads calmer with clear type labels, attendance streaks get a celebration you can share, and Ballie has a new, deeper app icon. Plus smaller improvements under the hood.
1.15.0 2 Sept
Attendance now has a window: responding to a match or training opens and closes automatically, and you get a nudge the moment it opens. Once it closes, late changes go through your coach. You only see the 'maybe' option if your team uses it. And Ballie has a calmer app icon. Plus improvements under the hood.
1.14.0 31 Aug
A new look: Ballie has a new app icon and launch screen, and the sign-in screen is back on the pitch. Are you the only team manager and want to leave the team? You now get advice you can actually act on. And the check-in location matches the address you enter, even if you change it after picking a suggestion. Plus improvements under the bonnet.
1.13.0 30 Aug
A new layout: Today, Programme, Team and You. Today shows at a glance what needs you: unanswered replies, a line-up still to be made and a result still missing. Chat has moved to the top bar. Team brings your squad, standings and the KNVB link together, and it is where you close your season with an archive and reports. New for youth teams: link parents to their child so they can report absences themselves. Plus improvements and a crash fix.
1.12.0 26 Aug
Fill your team in one go: add names (or import your league squad), answer for your players and share a personal link per player — whoever opens it takes over their spot with full history. Connect your calendar: spot clashes with trainings and matches and subscribe your calendar app to the schedule. Also: a redesigned line-up showing your spot and the substitutions, answer "maybe" where your coach enables it, one Player of the Match with a visible vote count, and crash fixes.
1.11.0 25 Aug
Attendance and match results are more reliable: tapping your RSVP twice no longer unregisters you by accident, you can tap a player again in the second half to make a substitution, and you can correct a wrong result straight away without having to vote first.
Also fixed: the app no longer closes unexpectedly when saving a training or match, when editing your profile, when sharing your team, or on your personal statistics.
1.10.1 20 Aug
New: follow a team or a competition, even if you are not a member. What you follow shows on Home. Search for a competition by name or code and share the viewing link with parents and fans. Setting up your own competition is quicker: reuse the teams from last time, approve sign-ups and view the full table. Manage your pitches in one place; the home pitch is filled in automatically for a new match.
