Since introducing Hey Clara into my business, it has genuinely helped take pressure off the day-to-day running of the clinic. As a busy salon and aesthetics clinic owner, handling enquiries constantly while also trying to focus on clients, content, staff and running multiple businesses can become overwhelming very quickly. Hey Clara has helped streamline communication, improve response times and create a more professional experience for clients contacting the business. One of the biggest benefits for me has been knowing enquiries are still being handled even when I’m with clients, unavailable or outside working hours. In the beauty and aesthetics industry, people expect quick responses and unfortunately if they don’t get one, they often move on to the next business. I also love that AI is helping modernise the customer experience within our industry instead of replacing the personal touch completely. It supports the business behind the scenes while still allowing me to focus on client care and relationships. For any business owner juggling appointments, admin and enquiries daily, especially within the beauty industry, I can definitely see the value in having systems like this in place.

What they don’t tell you

You see those adverts that make it look like you are about to download something amazing and life changing. The kind that makes you think this will finally be the app that does everything for you and saves your timeSo you download it. It says free. What they do not really explain is that free mostly means free to install and then you hit a subscription screen after wasting your time setting it upAfter about 10 minutes of clicking around you finally get to the point where you can actually use it and then boom paywall. So really it is not free in any meaningful way just free to look at for a bitAnd before you even get a chance to properly test anything it asks you to rate the app. Which is pretty ridiculous because you have barely even used it at that pointThe advertising makes it look incredible but the actual experience is basically install it set it up get excited then immediately run into limits or a subscription wallOverall it is just another one of those apps that looks amazing in ads but in reality is mostly a setup to push a subscription at you. Not really worth your time unless you already plan on paying
