Bug fixes and minor improvements

NEW • Name your cards, and choose their lists. Each card is a list in Reminders. In Settings, under Lists, tap a card to rename it, which renames its list, or to give it another of your lists. Rename a list in Reminders and its card takes the new name too, on the Home Screen and in the widget as well. FIXED • Setting OnDeck up on a new device no longer puts a card on a list someone has shared with you because it has the card's name, where the people it's shared with could see your tasks. • Tasks on the Win Pile Card no longer offer the swipe to mark them complete, and Update status dims the status a task already has.

NEW • OnDeck for Mac, now on the Mac App Store. Your four cards in a window of their own, stacked as they are on iPad, with a Task menu, keyboard shortcuts, a Dock menu for adding tasks and a widget for the desktop. Your tasks are in Reminders, so they're the same on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. • Choose tasks on two cards at once. On iPad, or iPhone Duo unfolded, held horizontally, choose tasks on the card at the front of the deck as well as the open one, and change, move or delete them all together. • Context menus and keyboard shortcuts. Press and hold a task's name, or secondary-click it on iPad, for everything you can do to it. With a keyboard on iPad, a Task menu acts on the tasks you've chosen, and Escape or ⌘[ closes a card. • Cards that feel like paper. Every card has a fine grain, an edge that catches the light and a deeper shadow where it lies on the card behind.

OnDeck 2.0 is a rebuild of how the app uses your screen, whatever shape it happens to be. NEW • Ready for iPhone Duo. The app feels familiar on the outer display, and has a new layout on the inner one. • On an iPad, and on the iPhone Duo's inner display, opening a card no longer hides the deck. Held on its side, the deck is on the left and the card you opened is on the right. Held upright, the card lays over the deck. • Turn your iPhone on its side and all four cards are on screen at once, each with its own heading. • The card at the front of the deck works without opening it. Scroll it, tick tasks off, swipe them or tap one to edit. Tap its heading to open it. • An Edit button on an open card, for choosing several tasks at once. • Choose how tasks are sorted. A new Sorting section in Settings lets the Next Card hold the next 30 days, or the rest of this month and all of next, with anything later going to Someday. • The Updates and Thank You Cards appear once. Settings has a new About section, with a button to show recent updates. FIXED • Tasks you tick off in the Reminders app, on your Apple Watch or with Siri stay ticked off and go to the Win Pile. • Notes you add to a task in the Reminders app are kept. • Rename one of OnDeck's lists in the Reminders app and its card keeps its tasks. • Left open past midnight, OnDeck moves on with the day. • Taps reach your tasks wherever you aim them. • The widget stops listing a task the moment you tick it off elsewhere, and opens the task you tap more reliably. • Setting a future date while adding or editing a task keeps it on the card you chose. • Lots of smaller fixes, and OnDeck opens faster. OnDeck now needs iOS 26, and takes full advantage of iOS 27.1 where it's available.

- New: OnDeck now works with your iPhone on its side — the buttons move to the edge of the screen and the deck packs its older cards into a thin edge you can pull back through, or you can keep the app upright with a switch in Settings - New: An Errors card appears in the Card Deck whenever OnDeck can't save something to Reminders, and can be kept there all the time from Settings - New: Send a tip and a card appears in the Card Deck to say thank you - Fixed: OnDeck now finds your lists as soon as you grant access to Reminders, and works on devices where Reminders has no default list - Fixed: The Home Screen widget no longer offers the Win Pile, tells you when a card has nothing left on it, and opens the card a task came from when you tap it - Fixed: British spellings now appear on devices set to English in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and India; task rows stay the same height as you start selecting several at once; the floating buttons respond anywhere on their circle; and rows in Settings light up as you touch them

- New: Press and hold the OnDeck icon on your Home Screen, or the add button inside the app, to add a task straight to Today, Next, or Someday - New: Select several tasks at once and delete them all together from the floating toolbar - New: OnDeck now follows the system's Reduce Motion setting, holding the cards still and easing back their animations - New: Clear a task's due date with the new Clear date button in the Add and Edit task screens

# Swipe gestures When in the Card Stack, swipe up on any card header to open a card. Swipe down on the card header to reveal the card behind it. # Updates card Whenever there are new features or fixes in OnDeck, you'll see an Updates card in your Card Stack. Swipe up to read the changes. Swiping down on the Updates card now reveals the Today card behind it, consistent with how all other cards in the stack behave. Swiping down on any card below the Updates card now also moves the Updates card along with it. You can toggle the Updates card in the Settings card. # Settings card The Settings card can now be added to the Card Stack. Swipe down on it from the Card Stack to show the impressum.

Swipe gestures: Updated swipe gestures, so that scrolling to the top of a list and over-scrolling now closes the card you’re in. Updated daily group styles: Headers for each day on a card are now more prominent. Background updates: The app would only update tasks and move them to the correct card based on their date when the app is opened. This update introduces a new background syncing feature, which triggers once a day. This means the widgets now update properly. Copy-and-paste to create tasks: With Quick Add enabled, if you copy multi-line text from another app and paste it into the ‘Add task’ screen, it will add a new task for each line of text. Fixes for iOS 27: Version 1.6.1 fixed a bug with Quick Add where long tasks would not wrap their text around multiple lines. The APIs to achieve this will change in iOS 27, which has introduced a new bug. This release fixes that bug before most people will ever see it!

Fixed a bug with ‘Quick add’ where text for each line item would not wrap if a task was over a certain text length.

QUICK ADD A new ‘Quick add’ option has been added to Settings. It’s off by default. Toggle it ‘on’ and you can add multiple new reminders at the same time by pressing ‘Return’ on your keyboard.

You can now customise the swipe left and swipe right actions via the Settings card. You can now select and take action on multiple reminders at once. Use a two-finger swipe to activate.

- Tweaked app icon - Bug fixes for the floating action buttons

- Animations: Tweaked animation timings, to make animations smoother and remove some visual glitches. - Settings: Added buttons to hide and show the 'Settings' and 'Back' buttons in the app. Hiding the buttons means users need to rely only on swiping or tapping on card headers to access the app's features. - 'Tip jar': If you like what you see, send a tip.
