NavBuddy™ is the world’s first anxiety-aware GPS navigation app — built specifically for nervous, anxious, and newly qualified drivers.
Most sat navs just tell you where to go. NavBuddy™ tells you how to get there calmly.
Designed by a professional driving instructor specialising in driving anxiety, NavBuddy™ combines turn-by-turn navigation with real-time reassurance prompts delivered by a calm, human voice. Whether you’re approaching a busy junction, joining a motorway, or just need a confidence boost mid-journey — NavBuddy™ has your back.
What makes NavBuddy™ different?
NavBuddy™ doesn’t just navigate. It coaches. As you drive, it reads the road ahead and delivers carefully timed audio prompts to help you stay calm, focused, and in control — without ever interrupting your turn-by-turn directions.
• Approaching a junction? NavBuddy™ reminds you to check your mirrors and ease off early.
• Completed a tricky manoeuvre? It tells you well done and helps you reset.
• Gone the wrong way? Instead of a stressful “Recalculating” alert, you’ll hear a calm voice saying “No problem at all — I’m finding a better route now.”
• On a long quiet stretch? NavBuddy™ checks in to keep you grounded and aware.
Key Features:
• Anxiety-aware reassurance prompts timed around your route
• Calm, human voice coaching (choose from multiple voices)
• Motorway-specific guidance for joining, cruising, and exiting
• Gradual Exposure mode — structured routes from beginner to advanced to build your confidence over time
• Route customisation — avoid motorwaya and heavy traffic
• Designed and developed in the UK by a qualified driving instructor
Who is NavBuddy™ for?
• Newly qualified drivers making the leap to solo driving
• Drivers returning to the road after a break
• Anyone who experiences driving anxiety or nervousness
• Learners preparing for their driving test
Free to download. Premium subscription available for full access to all voices, routes, and features.
NavBuddy™ — because you don’t just need a map. You need a co-pilot.
