mise: Stock Take & Control
Stocktake & Inventory Scanner
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
7-day free trial, no card needed. Scan a barcode or snap a photo and the product comes up complete. Do your stock take in minutes, track wastage and know your GP.
Inventory count app that knows the product from its barcode. Point the camera, mise finds the item, categorises it and adds it to your count. No spreadsheet, no product setup, no typing names. If mise doesn't know it yet, its AI identifies it on the spot.
mise is the only stock take app that fills in everything for you from a barcode or a photo: name, brand, photo, category, size and price.
Stock takes, deliveries, wastage and GP in one app, for any business that counts what's on the shelf: pubs, bars, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, convenience stores and corner shops, off-licences, wine merchants, pharmacies, pet shops, beauty shops, hotels and wholesalers.
HOW A STOCK TAKE WORKS
1. Scan the barcode with your phone camera or a Bluetooth scanner. No barcode? Snap a photo of the label.
2. The product comes up complete. You just enter the quantity.
3. Part bottles and loose items: count by the tenth or weigh them on a Bluetooth scale.
4. Close the stock take and your stock on hand updates straight away.
WET STOCK AND DRY STOCK, ALWAYS UP TO DATE
• Stock on hand: what you have and what it's worth, line by line
• Stock history: every delivery and every item out, who moved it, how much, when and where
• Reports: where the money went this period, what sold fastest and what to reorder
• Separate areas: bar, cellar, kitchen, store room, each with its own count
• Share any screen as a PDF or Excel file, straight from your phone
GP, COST OF SALES AND VARIANCE
Count, trade, count again. mise takes the opening stock, adds deliveries, takes off sales and compares it with the closing stock. Whatever's missing is your variance: wastage, spillage, breakages, theft or drinks nobody rang through, line by line, in units and in pounds. Actual vs. theoretical cost of sales, wet and dry GP by category, and the trend month on month.
WASTAGE LOG
Record wastage, spillage, staff food and breakages, with a reason for each line.
PAR LEVELS AND ORDER LIST
Set a par level for every product. When it drops below par, it turns red with how much to order, and the order list is ready to send to your supplier.
INVOICES AND RECIPE COSTING
Snap a photo of the supplier invoice or upload the PDF: every line goes into stock at the price you paid. Recipe costing for dishes and cocktails, with cost per portion.
TEAM, AREAS AND SITES
Invite staff to count and choose what each person sees. Prices only if you want. Multiple sites and areas: each with its own stock, or all of them together.
EXPORT TO YOUR SYSTEM
Stock takes, stock on hand and reports in Excel, PDF or CSV, for your accountant or your back-office system. mise is not an EPOS: it doesn't take payments, it keeps track of what you have.
7-DAY FREE TRIAL, NO CARD NEEDED
Create an account and scan your first barcode in a minute. After the trial, one plan covers your whole team.
