Pick a focus, like the Bible's history, prayer, or finding peace. Samuel leads you through it in seven short days, each building on the last. Ask him anything as you go.
Carried is a personal Christian companion with the entire Bible inside. Read any book at your own pace, tap any verse that catches you, and ask what it means, how it applies to your week, or the story behind it. Your guide remembers what you are carrying, so every answer meets you where you actually are.
THE BIBLE, WITH SOMEONE TO ASK
Read all 66 books in the World English Bible translation, in a beautiful, unhurried reader. Select any verse or passage and hand it to your guide with a question. What does this mean? How might this apply to my week? What is the story behind this passage? No commentary shelf required. Just ask.
A COMPANION WHO REMEMBERS
You name your guide. After every conversation, Carried distills what mattered: the people you mentioned, the themes you are carrying, the scriptures that resonated. The next conversation picks up where your life left off, not where the app did.
BUILT FOR YOUR TRADITION
Choose from ten Christian traditions, or select Spiritual but not religious for a reflective companion on your own terms. Your guide speaks your language without preaching at you.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your conversations are never stored as transcripts on our servers. What matters lives on your device. No ads. No behavioral tracking. No data sold, ever. Your guide is an AI companion powered by Anthropic's Claude, and we say so plainly because trust matters more than mystique.
YOUR FIRST WEEK IS FREE

I have been very impressed with Carried so far. I completed the setup and told it a bit about myself and my circumstances; my first conversation was quite wide ranging and it consistently went back to scripture, was both encouraging and challenging as a good friend would be, and aware of what I had already shared. I can see myself using this app quite a bit as I don’t have a close friend nearby who shares my faith. As an AI tool it definitely doesn’t replace real-world fellowship and the local Church, in fact it was gently persuasive that those things were absolutely the rock on which to build. But it does fill a gap for those of us who are temporarily adrift of more traditional support. I hope this project thrives 🙏🏻
Developer Response
Thank you for such a thoughtful review. You described exactly what we hoped to build, a companion for the seasons when traditional support feels far away, that always points back to the real rock. Notes like this genuinely shape where the app goes next. If you ever have ideas or requests, we read everything at hello@getcarried.app.🙏🏻
Ask your guide a question before you begin. Right after your personal note, you can now ask something you've always wondered about in scripture and see how your guide answers.
Replies in conversation now arrive several seconds faster.
A clearer explanation of your free week before Apple asks you to confirm.
