- Eight new hazard types, covering everything that comes into scope when Awaab's Law Phase 2 commences on 30 November 2026: excess heat, falls on the level, falls on stairs, falls between levels, structural collapse, fire and explosions, electrical, and domestic hygiene. Each has its own capture form built around what that hazard actually turns on — crack widths with BRE Digest 251 damage categories for structural, EICR C1/C2/C3/FI observation codes for electrical, BS 5839-6 alarm coverage and gas safety for fire, pest evidence linked to building defects for hygiene. You can survey these now to build a baseline before the duty applies. - Hazard triage on every survey. Record the significant-versus-emergency determination against the indicators published in the government's own Awaab's Law triaging guidance, alongside occupant vulnerability and your answers to the guidance's prompt questions. The app never calculates or suggests the determination — it is your professional judgement, and this record exists to evidence the basis for it. - A 24-hour make-safe record for emergency hazards: what was made safe, when and by whom, any temporary measures, the risk that remained, and the follow-up works needed. Emergency hazards of any type have been within Awaab's Law since October 2025 — this is where you record what you did about one. - Your organisation can now configure the app per hazard type. An asbestos survey no longer carries condensation analysis. Capture and report sections can be switched on or off for one hazard type without affecting the others, set per organisation, contractor, person or job — and changes reach the app without waiting for an update. - Every hazard type's findings now reach your connected systems. Exports and integrations previously carried damp and mould findings only, so other hazard types arrived looking as though nothing had been found. - Awaab's Law Phase 2 now shows its confirmed commencement date of 30 November 2026, replacing an earlier estimate.
