Welcome to Fragment Zero: The Escape, a new chapter in the Legacy universe. Designed as a tribute to classic point-and-click adventures, the game updates the genre with modern mechanics, detailed environments, and a deliberate pace. It is built as a complete, standalone experience, meaning no prior knowledge of the previous Legacy games is required to play.
What to Expect
• A Standalone Story: A complete mystery for both new and returning players.
• Explore the Castle: Search rooms, find items, and unlock doors to move forward.
• Puzzles: Every room is packed with puzzles and riddles. Never repeating but instead unique for each location.
• In-Game Camera: Take photos of clues and save them in your journal so you don’t have to memorize them.
• Helpful Hints: Get a small nudge in the right direction if you are stuck, without spoiling the answer. If you’re completely stuck? Just click “Skip” and you can focus on the next puzzle instead.

This has been released a couple of weeks before my holiday from work, the timing couldn’t be better I’m so looking forward to playing it undisturbed as these games deserve. I’m so excited it looks incredible. Il will review more then but had to say thank you for another entry into these magical and intoxicating worlds that this developer creates.Edit: so of course I couldn’t wait for my holiday 🤣 and have already started the game, it is an absolute dream as I knew it would be, I was worried in case it had been made easier as a few reviews on the previous game said it was too difficult but I needn’t have as it’s still fiendishly challenging but always fair, I’d love an achievement added on completion of hard mode on first run though. This game series has got to be my all time favourite of this type and I’ve played a lot, I would pay double for these games as they give me so much enjoyment. Absolutely exquisite 🙌

I thoroughly enjoyed this highly anticipated new release. I had to use the hints a few times because I couldn’t figure out some of the puzzles, but I somehow managed to clear the game just now.The visuals, puzzles, game design, and story were all fantastic. The overall experience was far more satisfying than I would have expected from an indie game. I especially enjoyed things like the lying machines and the gravity-based mechanics—they were so much fun!Thank you so much for releasing this game. I’m already looking forward to what you’ll create next!
Loving it so far but my torch disappeared!

I’m so happy to have a new game from this series to play. It’s great so far but I need the torch to get the blue flame but it’s disappeared from my inventory. I’ll contact the developer but leaving this here in case anyone else has the same problem.UPDATE: I contacted David and he gave me a fix the same day. I’m so impressed by this. I have now finished the game and am so sad that it’s over. Loved every moment. Can’t wait for the next one.

But to get your torch back, do this:– In the Main Menu, click Fragment Zero The Escape 13 times– A menu appears, in the field Item ID, type 7– Click Give ItemYou now should have the lit torch again.So sorry about this,David

I’ve played all of the games by this developer and they are very consistent in quality and playability.Not finished the game yet, but the puzzles are less convoluted than they were in the previous game and that is an improvement.Happy to recommend and I will definitely be buying the next one once it is available. Keep up the good work and let me know (again) when it is available!
