Broken down, had a bump or need a vehicle moved? ROVR connects you with independent recovery drivers who have been checked and approved by ROVR. Request flatbed, 4x4 or commercial recovery now, or pre-book it for later, then follow your driver live on the map.
FOR CUSTOMERS
REQUEST A RECOVERY
• Set your pickup using your current location or an address search, then add your drop-off.
• Choose flatbed, 4x4 or commercial recovery. ROVR only shows the recovery types with an approved driver available for your route, with the price for each.
• Add photos of your vehicle's condition before it's moved, so there's a clear record.
• Answer a few quick questions about your vehicle (does it start, where it is, how many passengers) so your driver brings the right kit. 3 or more passengers need a 4x4 recovery.
• Know a driver? Search for them by name and send your request straight to them.
• If no driver accepts within 15 minutes, your request closes automatically and you're not charged.
PRE-BOOK FOR LATER
• Pre-book a recovery from 1 hour to 30 days ahead (UK time).
• Send it to any available driver near your pickup, or choose a driver by name.
• Your price is fixed when you book, and there's no charge until the recovery starts.
• Cancel free of charge until a driver accepts, and up to 2 hours before pickup after that.
CLEAR PRICES, SECURE CARD PAYMENT
• Prices are based on the driving distance and the recovery type. The night rate (22:00 to 04:30) is included in the price shown.
• If the driver who accepts is more than 25 miles away, a call-out charge may be added. We always ask you to confirm a new price first.
• Pay by card in the app once a driver accepts. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and ROVR's servers never receive or store your full card number.
• Your receipt is emailed to you when you pay, and you can open it any time from your bookings.
TRACK YOUR RECOVERY LIVE
• Follow your driver on the map as they head to you.
• Get notifications when your driver accepts, arrives, starts and completes the job.
• Message your driver in the app, or call them.
• Rate your driver when the job is done.
FOR RECOVERY DRIVERS
Run a recovery vehicle? ROVR brings jobs to you.
• Sign up as a driver, then add your driving licence, insurance and V5C (take a photo or upload a PDF) and your vehicle details. ROVR checks your documents before you can receive jobs.
• Set up payouts with Stripe.
• Get job requests near you, even when the app is closed, and see the pickup, drop-off and fare before you accept.
• Follow the route to the pickup and the drop-off on the in-app map.
• Accept pre-booked jobs from Upcoming bookings and plan your day.
• Keep 85% of each fare. ROVR's platform fee is currently 15%.
• See your earnings and trips, get an earnings statement for every completed job, and withdraw your balance to your bank through Stripe.
SAFETY AND SUPPORT
• Every driver's documents are checked by ROVR before they can take jobs.
• Chat is only between you and the other person on your booking, and you can report a problem from the chat or the booking.

ROVR operates in the United Kingdom. Whether a recovery is available depends on an approved driver near your pickup accepting your request. The app is free to download; you pay for each recovery.
ROVR is not an emergency service. If you're in danger, for example broken down in a live lane of a motorway, get to a safe place and call 999 first.
