reh·cord
Every rehearsal, written down
£12.99
Lessons end up everywhere. A voice memo here, a video there, advice you half remember. reh·cord gives them one home: recorded, written down, and kept in notebooks.
Everything is made on the device. Nothing is sent to reh·cord, because there is nothing to send it to.
RECORDING
Press record and play. reh·cord writes down the speech and not the playing, so an hour of rehearsal comes back as a few readable pages. When something matters, press Marker on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island or on your watch. Or say "Marker" out loud, hands still on the instrument.
READ IT BACK
A recording opens as pages you can read. The talking falls into sections, each with a one-line summary in the style you choose, and the words follow along as it plays. Your markers are there too, right where you left them.
NOTEBOOKS
Every recording goes in a notebook, with a cover you choose. Add the piece and the composer to your session, and the names you use become suggestions next time. When you need last month's Brahms, search finds it by title, piece, composer, rehearsal location or notebook.
MADE FOR APPLE WATCH
Record, pause and mark the moment from your wrist while the phone does the recording. A glance shows how far in you are and what you have marked.
IPHONE, IPAD AND MAC
One library on every screen, kept in step through your own iCloud if you turn sync on. A stronger device can quietly take over the transcribing for a weaker one. And recordings can live in your iCloud instead of filling up your phone.
iPhone 13 Pro and later, M-series iPads and Macs transcribe with reh·cord’s full model. iPhone 11, 12, 13 and SE and older iPads use a lighter one, and with iCloud a capable device can redo any recording made on a smaller one.
No account. No ads. Sync is your own iCloud or nothing at all, the microphone is for the music, not for us, and the only thing reh·cord ever fetches from us is its own transcription model.

Share a video from Photos or Files straight into reh·cord. Imported videos now go to iCloud and come back with their sound, as one recording. Settings lets films stay on the device while the sound is backed up, big films ask before using mobile data, and an upload can be stopped, not just paused.
An imported recording is filed under the day it was made, read from the file itself, and a film that knows where it was shot offers that place.
iPhone 11, 12, 13 and SE, and older iPads, now transcribe on the device with a lighter model, and the app is a 16 MB download instead of 660: the transcription model arrives with the install.
The Timeline and Map show the pieces rehearsed in each session. The Apple Watch card opens the watch app with a tap. Downloads from iCloud show their real progress and go faster when you’re waiting for them.
Also: retranscribing pauses playback first, and How to use reh·cord explains how to keep reh·cord at the front of a share sheet.
