Trade doomscrolling for Scripture. The whole Bible, scrolled like a feed. Deep dive any verse, read with an accountability partner, and follow curated Bible journeys.
You're going to scroll today. This is the scroll that gives something back: the whole Bible, one verse at a time, in plain English.
Scrolls is Scripture in a feed. Same swipe, same thumb, same few minutes you would have spent somewhere else. No comments, no algorithm, no one performing. One verse per screen, for as long as you want to keep going.
Tap any verse and it opens in plain English. What it actually says. What was going on when it was written. What to take from it. What it looks like in an ordinary week. Written carefully, checked against the text, and it never puts words in God's mouth.
Most Bible apps are built for people who already read every day. This one is built for the rest of us.
WHAT YOU GET
- Every verse of the Bible. All 31,098 of them, in the World English Bible, stored on your phone so it works offline.
- Tap any verse to study it. In Plain English, Historical Context, Key Takeaway and Apply It open with one tap.
- A verse on your lock screen. The widget shows a new one every hour, on your lock screen or your home screen.
- A daily verse at your hour. You pick the time and it arrives.
- Share cards worth sending, for the verse someone else needs today.
- Quiet progress tracking, so you can watch the whole Bible fill in as you read.
- And Solly, a small scroll who welcomes you in and cheers you on.
Start at Genesis 1:1, jump to any book or pick up where you left off. Read one verse or read a hundred.
PERFECT FOR
Trading the scrolling habit for something better. Reading the Bible for the first time. Coming back after years away. Quiet time in the minutes you actually have. And anyone who finds older translations hard to read.
Download Scrolls. The thumb is already moving. Point it at something worth reading.

Great way of encouraging reading the Bible. Great format and engagement features. One recommendation that I would give is to have audio reading out verses for those with visual impairments and/or others wanting to listen to the Bible
Developer Response
Thank you, that means a lot! Audio is a great suggestion, especially for readers with visual impairments, and we will be offering it soon. In the meantime, iPhone's Speak Screen can read Scrolls aloud: turn it on in Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content, then swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers.
