Football now has a rating. Yours starts with a questionnaire and moves with every match. Start a group, play with friends, or find a game near you and start building it.
Get your OVR rating in two minutes, then watch it move with every match you play.
Golf has handicaps. Chess has ratings. Football has "they're alright." KickOff gives every player a rating out of 99 for how they actually play, and uses it to make the teams even.
YOUR OVR Rating
A short questionnaire gives you a starting number. After that it is earned. Beat better players and it climbs, drift for a month and it slips. Your profile keeps the whole history: your rating over time, best position, form, win rate and achievements.
TEAMS THAT ARE ACTUALLY EVEN
KickOff splits the squad using those ratings, so you get proper games instead of 9-1 walkovers. No more captains picking in the car park.
FIND A GAME NEAR YOU
Open the map and see games happening around you, with the date, the pitch, the format and the price per player. Filter by distance and by day. Tap once to join, pay in the app, and you're in the squad.
RUN YOUR OWN GAMES
Create a match, set the pitch, the format and the cost per player, then share it with your group or publish it to the map. Players pay as they join, so you're not chasing anyone for a fiver on Monday. Bring a guest and pay for them in the same transaction.
GROUPS, LEAGUES AND SEASONS
Set up a group for the players you play with regularly. Every match feeds a league table with wins, goals, assists and win percentage. Start a season to reset the table and keep the history, so last year's champion stays on record.
TRACK HOW YOU PLAY
Record goals, assists and man of the match as the game happens. Connect Apple Health to see your distance, heart rate, calories and a heatmap of where you actually spent the match.
CLEAR, FAIR PAYMENTS
Pay by card or Apple Pay. Cancel more than 2 hours before kick-off and your money goes straight back to your KickOff credits, ready for the next game. Inside 2 hours your payment is held and returned as credits as soon as someone takes your place. If an organiser cancels, you are refunded to your card.
CHAT
Every game and every group has its own chat, so team talk, lift-sharing and "who's got the bibs" stay in one place.
Football is better when it's easy to organise. That's the whole idea.
