UK Aerial Helper
TV aerial alignment made easy
£0.99
Point your TV aerial with confidence. Enter your postcode or use GPS to find your nearest Freeview transmitter, then align with a live compass, map and beep.
UK Aerial Helper finds your nearest Freeview transmitter and guides your aerial straight at it — no guesswork, no climbing up and down a ladder trying different angles.
HOW IT WORKS
• Use your location, or enter your postcode — either works
• The app finds your nearest main UK Freeview transmitter
• A live compass shows exactly which way to turn, with a beep that speeds up as you approach and a steady tone when you're aligned
• Check it against a map showing the straight-line bearing to the transmitter
FEATURES
• GPS or postcode entry — no account, no sign-in
• Live compass with audio and haptic alignment feedback
• Bearing map showing the direction to your transmitter
• Covers the ~45 main UK Freeview transmitters
• Runs entirely on-device — nothing to configure
Built for anyone installing or repositioning a rooftop or loft TV aerial: aerial installers, DIYers, and anyone chasing better Freeview reception.
Note: transmitter data is approximate and covers main transmitters only. Always verify against Ofcom/Freeview's official data before final installation.
Distances now show in miles as well as km, a vibration confirms when you're aligned and there's a new link to our aerial guides.
