Halloween in the Deep runs 24 Oct – 1 Nov: spooky prompts and a moonlit night dive. And every day, seven new prompts, free. Frog is the obvious answer. Salamander takes you deeper. Far Out is a daily trivia game where any valid answer scores, and the rarer your answer, the deeper your submarine dives. Seven new prompts every day, one shared set worldwide. Thirty seconds each. One answer. HOW IT WORKS • Read the prompt, such as "Name an animal you'd find in a pond" • Type any answer that fits: no multiple choice, no single right answer • Common answers stay near the surface; rare ones sink to the Abyss, or go Far Out • Five depths: Surface, Twilight, Midnight, Abyss and Far Out, from 10 to 100 points • Rarity is an estimate based on published data, not a live vote EVERY DAY • Seven new prompts every day, free • Replay yesterday's game from the archive • Keep your streak and share your depth • After each game, see the most common answers and where yours ranks FAR OUT PLUS • Play by Genre: 10 genres, including Movies & TV, Music, Games & Sports, Animals and Food & Drink • The 60-day archive • Practice mode • The Deep Space world • No ads Far Out Plus is available monthly, yearly or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The price is shown in the app, in your currency, before you buy. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. Great niche way to explore trivia

Developer Response
Thank you so much! A niche is exactly what we were going for, so that means a lot. See you on today's dive!

A quiz is only as good as your questions no matter how you dress it up. Similar to pointless, this quiz rewards you for correct yet rare answers. The problem with this is that the questions are so open ended that a genuinely rare answer is too rare for the list. It just doesn’t do its job very well. Hope it improves, but I wouldn’t pay for it in the current format.

Developer Response
Thank you for such thoughtful feedback. You're right: the game is only as good as its answer lists, and we keep growing them. Far Out now has over 1,500 questions, and we keep adding answers to the lists. When the game rejects an answer you know is right, tap "It's valid" on that round, then send the list from Settings. It comes straight to us, so we can add it. We hope you'll see the difference!

One question was: name something you would find at a sports game. One of the valid answers was ‘escalator’.Exited and deleted after I saw that

Developer Response
Thanks for the feedback! That prompt counts anything in the stands, on the field or around the stadium, so stadium escalators qualify, and almost nobody thinks of them, which is what makes an answer rare in Far Out. Common picks like hot dogs, fans and the scoreboard score too, just not as deep. We'd love for you to give it another try!

Hey explorers! This update makes Far Out lighter and quicker to open, and fixes a crash some players saw at launch on older iPhones. Long answer lists are easier to explore, too: each prompt now shows its most common answers and where yours ranks, and "See all" opens every accepted answer, with search. Bought Far Out Plus on another device? You can now restore it right from Settings. Halloween in the Deep arrives on 24 October. See you out there!
