ADD A BOOK IN SECONDS Scan the barcode on the back, search by title or author, or type it in. The cover, author and page count fill themselves in from Open Library. Scanning stays open, so a whole shelf can go in one after another. YOUR PROGRESS, YOUR WAY Pages for paper, a percentage for an ebook, hours and minutes for an audiobook. One tap from the home screen, a nudge of plus 10 or plus 25, or type the page you are on. RATINGS THAT FIT Quarter stars, so a 3.75 is a 3.75. Thoughts, quotes with their page, and your own tags for anything else. RE-READS AND DATES THAT ARE RIGHT Every time through a book keeps its own dates. Add a book you read years ago without it landing in this year. Edit any date. Paused and Didn't finish are shelves of their own. THE RIGHT EDITION Pick the edition in your hands from every one Open Library knows, in your language first, and the page count and cover follow. Or correct anything yourself, or photograph your own cover. YOUR YEAR ON A SHELF Every book you finish stands on a shelf, as thick as it is long and in its own cover's colour. Pages read, hours listened, your average rating, month by month, your most read authors and your records. Share it as a picture. A GOAL THAT NEVER NAGS Set how many books you would like to read this year. Book Vault tells you how it is going and never tells you that you are behind. BRING YOUR BOOKS WITH YOU Import your Goodreads or StoryGraph export with its shelves, ratings, reviews, dates and re-reads. You see what will be added before anything is. Export a spreadsheet in Goodreads' own format whenever you like, so you are never locked in. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no adverts, no tracking. Your library lives on your phone and works offline.
